Gem Sound

Description

Brought to you by Gem Sound, the GMW-4 Quad-Channel Wireless Mic System EF offers high-fidelity audio transmission and reception over long ranges. This four-channel VHF wireless microphone system features a super heterodyne receiver and transmitters with 100' operating range—ideal for karaoke performances, presentations, and events.

Crystal-Clear Audio Over Long Distances

With a super heterodyne receiver and VHF high-band operation, the GMW-4 provides interference-free transmission and studio-quality sound over its 100' range. Four included handheld dynamic microphones offer warm and articulate vocal reproduction for singing or speaking. Users can operate all four microphones simultaneously without crosstalk or signal degradation.

Reliable, Long-Lasting Power

Each GMW-4 microphone operates for up to eight hours on two AA batteries, providing dependable power for even the longest presentations or karaoke sessions. The receiver connects to any standard AC power outlet for continuous use. With a rugged metal housing, the GMW-4 system is built to withstand the rigors of frequent transport and handling.

Simple Setup and Operation

The GMW-4 Quad-Channel Wireless Mic System EF requires minimal setup. Users simply connect the included receiver to a mixer or amplifier, turn on the power, and match the microphone transmitters to the correct receiver channels. Independent volume control for each channel allows for quick and precise level adjustments. An LED indicator on each microphone shows battery status and transmission signal strength for confidence during use.

Frequency Agility and Licensing Info

The GMW-4 system provides two selectable frequency sets—ABCD and EFGH—to avoid interference from other devices. While most casual users do not require an operating license, the GMW-4 must be operated at low power according to FCC regulations. For details, visit the FCC's wireless microphone website or call 1-888-CALL-FCC.

4 mics is nice, but you only get 1 star

I bought this unit this past week and I had 2 separate gigs. I needed 4 mics for 2 different silent auction events. The mics kept shutting down and there were dead spots in their words while speaking. The Auctioneers were getting frustrated, the crowd was getting upset cause they couldn't hear. I have bought many mic systems and never have had issues like this. I will be returning this 4-mic system and buying something else. 1 positive...all mics were color coded and the Rf unit had color lights so that each mic could be lowered or raised individually based on the color.

This microphone system isn't durable at all…dropping microphones causes damage easily and it becomes imperative.

Since day one I've had issues with it. Out of the box wouldn't turn on, I'm electronics tech so I decided to open it and found an unsoldered cable . After fixing it found one microphone cutting out and the volume on all others extremely low. The led light on microphone will turn on only when battery is low.

GC guy actually warned me about this product and said it was bad. I believed him, but I thought he was exaggerating. From the moment I plugged them in they were faulty. Cutting out during the middle of toasts at a wedding, and during my speeches. Terrible product.
