    This is a decent set. The Boom stand is very standard but heavy duty enough for studio use. I use it to hold one of my over head mics for my drum set. The low profile stand does not come with a boom so i would recommend ordering one if you need it. The cables are of decent quality, nothing really special to them. I believe they are the standard musician's gear cables. Over all a great buy for the money.

    This is the best deal I found anywhere after extensively searching the options on the web. My four star rating reflects that these are excellent quality basic mic stands and cables. If you are expecting Mogami and touring quality stands at this price, you're not being realistic. The boom stand is solid and all clamps hold nicely. I use these in my home studio and mainly run a SM57 with a pop filter and have no issues with tipping or tilting. The mic cables run quiet. There are no reinforcements or strain reliefs at the connectors so I wouldn't expect them to hold up well night after night in a live performance application. Probably fine for small solo gigs though.

    The affordable price for this package deal makes it one of the best "bang for the buck" purchases you can ever make! But, that being said, keep in mind that the products are not heavy-duty! The cables are light and very flexible. Time will tell how long they last in a stage environment. The boom stand is also a little on the light side, and probably will not take well to rough usage. The short stand is perfect to mike an amplifier or kick drum with. If you are gentle with your equipment, these will work just fine. If you are a bit of a gorilla with your gear then you should just step up and buy some heavier-duty stuff.

    Nice stand both the big and little one, and the 4 cables are an added bonus. Good deal for the money to say the least
