Galaxy Audio

Description

The Galaxy AS-900 is a professional quality entry-level Wireless Personal Monitor. It is a well-made, good-sounding system that allows a performer to hear great nuance in vocal performances. The transmitter has L/R level display, stereo hybrid ¼" / XLR inputs and a headphone output with volume control. This item is the transmitter only.

The AS-900 is a fixed frequency unit, and an unlimited number of receivers may be added at any time. If everyone on the stage is happy with the same monitor mix, one complete system with multiple receivers will suffice, whereas if different performers require different monitor mixes, multiple systems are best. Several different frequencies are available. Comes with ear buds.

Bought this system a few years ago when I just needed to listen to a click track, as my project performed alongside tracks. It was fine for that, however, once I switch to being a vocalist and needed an in ear system, I tried to see if this would cut it. Not even close. The dropouts and interference is too much to accurately use this in any live setting where you need reliability and a clear signal. It cant even hold up a clear signal when I am 2 ft away from the unit in my own house, never mind a 30 ft stage outdoors. Spend the extra money and get a Shure PSM300 or something even better. This is worthless.
