Top Shelf Quality at Half the Price
Ordered the G&L Tribute Fallout in Sonic Blue with maple fingerboard from the Nashua, NH store. Arrived a few days later and I couldn't be more pleased! Raised the E/B/G strings slightly to eliminate slight buzz; plays and sounds like a dream. It does everything a strat or tele can do and then some. Can't find a bad tone. Fine fit & finish. I've been playing close to 50 years and I highly recommend this guitar. And, if you don't like it you can return it! (but you won't want to put it down) I happened to have a case from an SC-1 that fit with minor modification (removed block inside). Get this bad boy a case or gig bag and you're in business.

Great guitar; fit and finish leave a bit to be desird
Ordered this open box at a discount. A few cosmetic blemishes here and there but they don't affect playability so I'm not going through the trouble to return it. It should have been labeled "blemished," though. The guitar is a ton of fun and has great flexibility of tone. The sustain is outstanding! I can feel the guitar vibrating as I strum, it's a really great feeling. For the bad: the nut is cut incorrectly and is hideously finished. The finish of the guitar overall is really beautiful, but it looks like the nut was ripped from some other guitar, whittled by hand, and then glued into the fretboard of my guitar. It's shockingly crude-looking compared to the rest of the guitar. Additionally, the high E string nut slot is cut a little too far out from the other strings, throwing off the string spacing, and if I'm not careful the high E can slip off the fretboard. Very sloppy! I'm going to my luthier so he can cut me a properly spaced bone nut (something I might have done anyway), but to know I must do this for good playability is a bit of a drag. I don't think I'll ever buy a guitar online again due to my experience with this purchase. Lesson learned — play the guitar in person and inspect it. That said, it's a really cool guitar.

Excellent guitar. I bought this on a whim for the P90/humbucker pickup combination and am glad I did. The coil split is just icing on the cake. Lots of sustain and it sound great. Plays and sounds way above it's price tag.
Fun alternative to my strats

I bought this from a local shop as an alternative to my several Stratocasters. I have been playing with a new group that is more into heavier music. This is a great guitar at this price or even more. It is definitely better quality than my MIM strat and the humbucker on this one blows away the humbucker in my MIM. While I prefer a neck with no finish, the glossy neck on this is plenty fast and easy to play. I must also say that while I generally play more hard music on this guitar you can get an amazing blues/rock tone with the P90. All in all, I would recommend this guitar to any level of player and for most types of electric music with the exception of Jazz.

Compared to my Mockingbird and Les Paul, this absolutely destroys. The sound quality and build quality is unbelievable for this price. It plays like a PRS SE and sounds very similar to a American made Mustang. Absolutely amazing.
Glad I bought this one.

Just to have fun with, oh, and pratic. It's a very nice looking Guitar, and much fun to work with. The action of the string are on the light side. So you don't have to have hands like a vicegrip to play. G&L's are pretty good.

Some people were talking about buzzing, and that raising the bridge fixed it quickly. How would one go about raising the bridge if I were to buy this guitar? Is it easy, or do I need it taken into a shop?
You can raise/lower the strings by adjusting the truss rod
