I use Boomers and DR Prue Blues strings. Both are great strings. Thanks GC!

Reasonably priced to begin with, then used a $10 off coupon. How can it get any better?

  • These are my go to strings. Really like the feel and sound.

Love that they are packed in an air tight pack. They just feel better than some of the other brands I have played. Highly recommend.

I bought these because I recently tuned my extra long scale Ibanez BTB down to drop C. I remembered from using the regular long scale strings in the past that GHS strings tend to be stiffer than most other strings and therefore may not flop around as much on lower tunings. So, I took a chance and ordered some of the 45-105 xtra long scale. All I can say is wow. They locked right into tune, intonated quickly and have a fat, loud tone. It's like I bought a new bass with almost twice the power. My drummer immediately noticed the difference. They have a great feel too. They're smooth and silky and don't stick to your fingers. They are slightly squeaky when sliding along the strings, but some finger ease spray should fix that. Get you some!
