    Great Start!

I've been having the product for around 3 weeks. I love the sleek finished material, especially that it doesn't leave fingerprints anywhere. I like the change of halo lights as it is currently compared to the previous generation. It has so many cool features which helps me make my audio easier and sound better. I can notice the difference with and without the air feature which sounds really cool and accommodates my voice really well. I love the safe feature that avoids clipping on the track, it helps a lot especially that I'm very new to all of this. #sweepstakes

I am very happy with Scarlett , not with Guitar Center Staff

For the product itself , it is certainly a step up from what I had which was a Scarlett Solo Gen 3. I was able to trade it in towards my new 2i2 Gen 4 with the additional percentage off. I have more input options and better db within all my outputs and a separate headphone knob

I bought this because I need to split my Que and live sound from my MacBook to my mixer. So now I can que songs with built in MAC headphone jack and still send music board. What I didn't except was the enhanced sound. A warmer fuller sound than I was geting via my usb out to mixer. Great product.

I use this for recording guitar tracks and vocals. It's almost perfect but I couldn't use it on my keyboard for some reason. I'm glad I purchased it. It has helped me progress in my career tremendously. 🙏🏻

Sounds, great, easy to use, knobs feel amazing, small, compact, sturdy, good lookin. There's a reason it's the standard home studio audio interface.

What is the benefit of the 5V power adapter addition? Historically I haven't seen this added to the interfaces.

      Open Reply - Gear-Support
The 5V power adapter for the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB-C Audio Interface provides power if your computer can't supply the required 1.5A USB-C power. The 5V power adapter can be used in the following situations: When using a low-power device If you're using a device like an iPhone, you can use the 5V power adapter to provide the necessary power. When playing live To minimize glitches caused by low power, you can connect the interface to direct power. When using the Scarlett 2i2 in standalone mode You can use the 5V power adapter to power the unit and pass audio from the inputs to the outputs without a computer. When using a USB-C hub with power delivery You can use a USB-C hub with power delivery to charge your iPad while also using the Scarlett interface. The Scarlett 2i2 can also be powered by connecting it to a computer using the USB-C connector. However, Focusrite recommends using the laptop's AC adapter when using it with the Scarlett 2i2 to prevent the laptop battery from draining faster.
