The Red 16Line is a high-quality audio interface with two built-in preamps and up to 64 inputs and 64 outputs via 2 Thunderbolt and DigiLink ports. Its various analog and digital connectivity allow users to output audio in a multitude of ways via S/PDIF, ADAT optical and DB25. It features high-performance, low-latency A-D/D-A conversion, Red Evolution mic preamps, ultra-low roundtrip latency and expansion over Dante for networked audio.
Since Red 16Line provides both DigiLink and Thunderbolt connections, it's now easier than ever to switch from Pro Tools HD to a second DAW, without the need to reconfigure option cards in the interface. Simply change the host mode either in the remote-control software or on the device front panel and change DAWs in seconds.
With dual-port Dante connectivity, you will be able to expand your studio over Ethernet for more channels at higher sample rates, anywhere in your network, at lower latency and lower cost.
Comes with free Brainworx bx_console_Focusrite SC plug-in.
NOTE: The Focusrite Red range of Thunderbolt, Pro Tools | HD and Dante interfaces are now compatible with PCs running Windows 10 with the appropriate Thunderbolt 3 hardware.
