    Pub owner complained about 2 hour band setup then.3 hour band packup. Kept owner there past three AM. I offered a picture of my two array system, one SA220 and one SA330x. Give me 10 minutes pet side, we are in and out of here with quality acoustic sound for voice and guitar. He took my business card and smiled....

    I've owned a 330 for quite some time, but booked a gig outdoors in a park area. Piggybacked together, the pair of them covered a nice area quite well, and maintained a comfortable balance in about a 270 degree venue. Folks to the sides could hear as well as those in front. I've since purchased the 330 subwoofer for the pair and I'm looking forward to hearing them together as well.

    I play an EWI through it along with a digital piano. Has great dynamic range, at least 5 discernable levels

    I have had the opportunity to play on a Fishman 330 since it came out. A friend runs an open mic and it gets used constantly. With all the array systems that are out there it is easy to get confused. I wanted to keep the weight down. Every time a new unit comes out I read all I can about it. Just gets more confusing. Where do you go to play every unit out there. There might be one place but not everyone can make a trip to Fort Wayne, and I don't think they can beat GC prices if you buy right. Anyhow the 330 is so versatile. It can be used by itself or with the base unit. You can run a mixer to it to add mics and instruments. It has plenty of power for small venues. Easy to use and each component is light. I don;t think you can go wrong with it. A gear advisor at GC told me right off the get go that Fishman was the way to go before I even told him what I was looking at. All I can say is it is the right unit for me.

    I added the 330x and linked it to my old 220. It is great and can cover most venues. Also you can add powered speakers, plug in accessories, go pre out or direct, making it a small mixer. I am so fired up i ordered 4 additional channels that plug into the system via a special connection. All that without the sub. I sing and play guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and harmonicas through it.

    How does this interface with external units : like another PA?

    This system has Balanced XLR D.I. outputs for both input channels and Main mix. This application is useful when you want to run your mixed sound from both channels of the Fishman to the mixing console of a larger, front-of-house PA in a large venue hall or outdoors. Your Fishman then can become your monitor.

    You can do it via an Aux cord into a headphone jack.
