I placed this one on a Washburn D10S12 and it couldn't sound greater. Great for recording and live playing. But if you tend to use your guitar in a percussive manner, I'd suggest for you to try another pickup.
Unbelievable!!!

I was skeptical that an under saddle pickup would sound good but I was installing it a Recording King ROS-G9M which is an inexpensive all solid wood guitar so I figured at least I can plug in and then just EQ to get a moderately close acoustic sound. Well this is unbelievable, I think my guitar sounds even better plugged in than not, the tone control is like a midrange cut so it's quite useful for tailoring the sound for different needs instead of just muffling the sound like a regular tone control. Installed it myself and it would have been easy except the guitar is a smaller body and my hand/arm barely fit, but still pretty straightforward even though the installation instructions were kind of vague.
A little work, a lot of reward. Yay Fishman!

I installed this pickup in my Martin MMV. After using a Fishman Hummbucker sound hole pickup, I pulled the trigger on the Matrix. And boy am I glad I did. Don't get me wrong, the Hummbucker is a great pickup. but I wasn't getting what I wanted. G.C. was fast on the shipping as always. Seeing as though I live 150miles from the nearest G.C. this is important. The install was very straight forward, and it took 1 1/2 hours to do the deed. Yes, you do have to drill 2 holes (one for the end pin jack, and one for the pickup wire) and trim the saddle down about .045 of an inch.(I trimmed my saddle .062 to lower the action a bit) As I have the skills to do such things it was a snap. If you are not comfortable doing this, have it installed by a guitar tech. I plugged in to my Yamaha 5014 mixer/amp and was blown away. The crispness and clarity are outstanding. I love the volume and tone controls hidden in the sound hole. makes for easy adjustments. So far the battery life is good. I change strings every 2 to 3 weeks so I change the battery at the same time and use the old one in something else. Don't need it going dead in a gig. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. If you are looking for a quality pickup that indeed enhances your instrument at a reasonable price then the matrix Infinity will truly please. I grin from ear to ear every time I plug in!
The Matrix Infinity sounds excellent !

I've had one in my D 28 for a few years now and love it! It does it all, clear loud sound without feedback, easy to use and doesn't alter the looks of the guitar. Fishman puts out great products! This will be my second one, going in a Recording King RP 10. Never any problems with the pickup very reliable!
Sweet highs and plenty of low end.

I had an LR baggs in my nice Breedlove Oregon C20, but my Eastman's Fishman pickup always sounded better, so I upgraded to this one. Amazing full range sound! Even better than the cheaper Sonitone I had in the Eastman acoustic.
