FENDER VINTERA '60S TELECASTER MODIFIED - Wrong Pickups

The guitar is fine and well made. Form, fit and finish is excellent. On first play though noticed the sound of the pickups did not sound hot but like vintage. I have both types of pickups on other Telecasters. This model is "vintage modified" which is claimed as having hotter output pickups. The ones here measure neck, 7.21K and bridge, 6.22K DCR which are vintage spec outputs. I corresponded with a Fender rep and all I got was "well that's what our data base has for this model". That and the aftermarket Fender 60s "vintage" pickups have stated outputs of 7.8K (neck), 7.75K (bridge). It appears someone at Fender mixed the pickup types and it isn't being admitted. I am keeping the guitar and will replace their bridge pickup with a Lollar Special T I have that has a hotter output at ~8K DCR. One other thing questionable is the '50s style switch tip on a 60s style guitar? I wouldn't think of this as a "mod" especially with the taller '60s style control knobs. Luckily I have 60s style "top hat" switch tips.
This is the best guitar I've ever played.
