Fender Vintera Stratocasters | Nile Rodgers First Impressions

Vintera Series '60s Stratocaster | Vintera Series | Fender
For modern Fender tone the designers re-voiced the trio of single-coil Stratocaster pickups, kicking things up a bit by increasing the output for more girth and gain. Thick-sounding, yet articulate, they have the power you need for any style of music. The “Modern C”-shaped neck has a 9.5”-radius pau ferro fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets for classic playing feel.
A contemporary, two-point synchronized tremolo offers rock-solid performance and tuning stability, while the S-1 switch adds the neck pickup in positions 1 and 2, unlocking even more tonal variety. Other features include vintage-style tuning machines and strap buttons, chrome hardware and four-bolt neck plate. Includes deluxe gig bag.

The color is muchhh different than shown. I'm not mad about it, because it's a pretty dusty lilac pink, so unique, but not this color at all. Also the whammie bar is kinda in the way, but I angle it down while playing it, and it doesn't really bother me. Super nice sound and feel.
It beat all the other Fender Stratocasters I tried

I have been on a life-long search for the best Fender Stratocaster for me. I have had a Fender American Standard, a Roadhouse, a Powerhouse, and a Guitar Center FSR Mexican Stratocaster that looks like the David Gilmour black Strat. I did not love any of these. I sold a few, and kept some. I found this brand new Fender Vintera Mod guitar and it blew me away. It has my favorite Stratocaster neck (so smooth). The sound I get from the pickups (hotter than average) is fantastic and I love the switch to add the neck pickup to any position. I was not too excited about paying $$$ for a made in Mexico Strat, so I put it on lay away. I came back to the store twice to test this Vintera Modified guitar against other guitars, including a brand new Fender American Vintage II, a used Fender American Vintage I, an American Professional, some relic Strats, and a bunch of other Stratocasters. The Modified Vintera 60s beat all the Strats I had, the ones I still have, and all the other ones that I tested in 3 visits to Guitar Center. Net, this is the Stratocaster for me. It plays and feels better than a $$$$ American Stratocaster. It seems I finally found my Fender Stratocaster. I was super surprised with my findings and how every time I tested it against other Stratocasters, this Vintera Modified came on top for me. Maybe I got lucky and found a special one, or maybe it is a fantastically well designed instrument. Just test one and decide for yourself.
Easily my favorite guitar

I haven't played a fender in many years, ESP was always my go to brand. When I saw the Andertons video featuring these. I bought this one based just on this video and seeing the burgundy mist color. When it finally arrived I was stunned. The neck is the best thing I've ever felt, the sound of the pick ups is amazing, and the two point trem is so much better than I had expected. Needless to say I can't put it down and I now want all of them.
