The first one I received had an issue. High frets/ neck related. Returned. Replaced by the second. Over all very nice. All nicely done As has been mentioned, everywhere. You will probably want to shim and replace stock TOM bridge. Stock strings felt very light, replaced immediately with 10s. Sounded and played much better. Not a fan of the old style heel truss adjustment. Supplied bag is too short for any sort of protection.

I have the older version the Classic Player, 2011 but they are close to the same guitar. Different JM pickups the adjustable screws type I think their tad hotter than the originals. Otherwise almost the same guitar. One little thing about the bridge, I changed the bridge to a roller type, which fits right on. Glad I did. I don't know why Fender doesn't put those on at the factory. Makes the vibrato work better, easier on the strings and stays in tune better. If you buy this guitar, try a roller bridge.
Wow, this is a keeper!

Very pleased with this guitar. It played well right out of the box. The rhythm circuit is very useable and the lead circuit in the middle position chimes nicely. The tune-o-matic bridge works well and eliminates all of the problems I have heard about jazz masters (sorry if I offend the purists.) The neck feels and looks great. The burst color is very pretty. I need to oil up the fretboard but that is fairly normal. I got really good tones out of this guitar through my fender blues jr tweed. My bandmates were also pleased. Hope to play it through my vox ac15c1x sometime soon!

Fabulous sound and neck. Custom feel for my techniques. Pick ups are true wide/flat magnets for that distinctive JM sound. The addition of the tune o matic bridge is a stoke of genius. No need to go Mastery here. Flawless finish. Love this guitar. A valued addition to the collection.

In the description it has the country of origin as the United States, but all the info I have found says it is made in Mexico. Where is this guitar made?
