Vintera Series '50s Telecaster | Vintera Series | Fender
Description
For authentic, vintage-style tone, Fender recreated their favorite set of ‘50s Telecaster pickups. Twangy and articulate, they have the crisp, snarling sound that put Fender on the musical map.
The thick, fat-shouldered Early '50s U-shaped neck has a 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets for classic playing feel. A vintage-style Tele bridge with three brass barrel saddles gives this Telecaster its characteristic twang, while vintage-style tuning machines provide original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability.
Other features include vintage-style strap buttons, chrome hardware and four-bolt neck plate.
The Vintera '50s Telecaster includes a deluxe gig bag.

Great 50s Tele

Mine is fiesta red and purchased used from GC. Sounds great and feels and looks like a 50s tele. Love the chunkier neck, and the quality on mine is very good, too. I think this a great value if you are looking for 50s style tele that sounds like a tele should, baby!
Very fun to play and has the classic telecaster tone

"Baseball bat" shaped neck was a little weird at first but after getting used to it, it feels very comfortable. The shine of the maple neck looks great and makes playing it very smooth.

Impressed with this guitar, great feel impressed with chunky neck, playable and fun to play. Natural 60s tele sound. I really impressed with this one from the feel, vibe, build, and of course the sound.

This is a beautiful guitar. I love the way the fat neck feels, and the fingerboard is smooth. I've been banging and stretching the strings, and it's staying in tune. This is one of the best guitars I've ever played. I prefer this guitar over its American counter part. Great guitar if you love Telecasters.
Cheap

Guitar has a decent tone but feels cheap, mine came with a pick guard that doesn't fit (it bubbles up above the body about a quarter inch in certain spots) and a pickup selector nob that literally fell off as I was taking the guitar out of the packaging.

What a great instrument. My first vintage style guitar and it's awesome! I don't know if I will be able to go back to a modern style guitar. It's also my first Tele and I couldn't be happier! Definitely go try one before buying, that is what I did.

Why on earth did they wreck an otherwise amazing guitar with a ridiculous layer of clear coat. How do i get this guitar without the clear coat?
