Just a heads up,the nut comes slotted but not finished and the string tree holes are not pre-drilled. Fender does this intentionally so you can modify it to suit your needs. As far as quality goes; the neck is straight as an arrow, the frets are almost perfectly level, and the finish is flawless. I highly recommend this high quality USA replacement neck.

Fit the body's neck pocket without any gaps between neck and body. The frets were level and smooth. It did not require any fret work at all. It does require some finish work on the nut but Fender states that some finish work is required on the nut. I bought the neck with the maple fret board and put it on a 1988 Strat Plus ash body. I had a WD neck with an ebony fret board on it. Nothing was wrong with the WD neck but I wanted to make it an all Fender Strat again. The tone of the Strat is real glassy and bright now. Great clean tones and it has a twang almost like a Tele. It is pricey but you get what you pay for though.

Does anybody know if this will fit into an Squier Affinity Strat neck pocket? I know the guitar is like less than half the price but I just don't want anymore guitars, I'll just upgrade this one.
