Description
The Fender Tone Master Twin Reverb 200W 2x12 guitar combo amp brings Fender's legendary Twin Reverb tone into the digital age. Using advanced modeling technology, this innovative amp authentically captures the sound and feel of Fender's iconic 85W tube Twin Reverb amp in a lightweight, convenient package.
Massive Power, Minuscule Weight
Though it pumps out a thundering 200 watts of power, the Tone Master Twin Reverb weighs in at only 33 pounds—nearly half the weight of Fender's tube-driven Twin Reverb. This makes it ideal for gigging guitarists looking to lighten their load without sacrificing tone.
Iconic Tone, Endless Versatility
The Tone Master Twin Reverb offers five output levels ranging from a bone-rattling 85 watts to a modest one watt, allowing you to achieve cranked-amp tones at any volume. It also features Fender's renowned onboard reverb and tremolo effects, as well as an XLR line out with impulse response cabinet simulations for direct recording or live playing through a PA system.
Clarity and Presence
The Tone Master Twin Reverb is equipped with two 12" Jensen N-12K neodymium speakers, which provide tight, articulate bass response and shimmering high end. Combined with the amp's solid pine cabinet, these premium components reproduce the resonant tones and lush reverberation that have made Fender's Twin Reverb legendary.
Modern Convenience
Though the Tone Master Twin Reverb nails the sound of Fender's iconic tube amp, it offers modern features that make it ideal for today's gigging and recording guitarists. Available at Guitar Center, get your Tone Master Twin Reverb combo amp today.

Always wanted a twin, but would never buy one, until now.
I have a Headrush Pedalboard and it is great! But I always found myself playing more with all the settings and creating new "rigs" than actually playing and practicing. I also have a Fender Mustang III v.2 and it is pretty good as well, and it doesn't invite changing settings nearly as much as the HR, so it gets actually used for playing in the band more than the HR. I found that I get drawn to pretty much the same sorts of tones all the time, mostly based on Twin and Deluxe Reverbs, so I've always thought that an actual Twin would be good to have. But: the Reissue Twins don't have XLR out, are too loud at the sweet spot and are too heavy to carry around, so I would never buy one. The Twin (and Deluxe) Reverb Tone Master amps fix all these problems, at arguably the cost of maybe perhaps not always quite sounding like the real thing (although I'm told that all Reissue Twins sound a little different, so who really knows?). To me it is close enough, in any case much better than the Mustang III. The TRTM comes with a two-button reverb and vibrato switch and also an amp cover. Like the Reissues, there is no effects loop, and unlike the Reissues, the speakers are directly wired to the amp, there is no main amp out or extra cab connector. The Tone Master XLR out is excellent, and will work fine going to FOH. I now plan to use the HR simply as an effects unit in front of the amp (and perhaps its XLR outs will also go to FOH for stereo, still have to work that out).

DO NOT BUY THIS AMP!
I bought this amp and used it for about a year, and then one day at a gig it wouldn't turn on. It's getting power but won't fully power on. Fender says to take it get fixed but can't actually tell me what's wrong. Buyer beware. Could fail you at the worst possible time with no way to fix it!

I'm a professional musician. This amp is absolutely perfect. Beautiful cleans at extremely loud volumes. Attenuation is a great feature that should be on tube amps as well. Tremolo sounds phenomenal and the reverb is literally perfect and sounds identical to a tube driven reverb tank. Get this amp.
Excellent all around amp. Great fender tone.

I owned the fender twin reverb tube amp for many years. I finally had to trade it because as I got older it became too heavy. Everything about the tone master twin is exactly the same as the tube amp except it is much easier to carry (only 33 pounds). 👏👏
More than I expected!

This is the sound I've been looking for. I've owned a couple of Fender tube amps but it seems like the Tonemaster to my ear is a better pedal platform. Loud as thunder. I use it on 5 watts in my music room. IDE open is insane!

I would like to play the Tone Master twin reverb, the Hot Rod deluxe IV, and the 65 reissue Deluxe Reverb in your Winston Salem store. Do you have one of each there, new, so I can make a better informed decision?
I'm showing they both have some floor models, but nothing new, in-box.submitted6 years ago
