Fender

collapse expand iconDescription

The Fender Tone Master '59 Bassman combo amp gives you classic Bassman tone that's virtually indistinguishable from the original 1959 model, thanks to powerful digital modeling. This innovative amp technology is paired with four Jensen P-10R speakers and additional features like reverb, a vintage/tight switch and an effects loop to inspire your creativity.

Pure Tube Tone Without the Tubes

Fender's advanced digital processing delivers 45watts of power and the rich harmonic complexity of a tube amp. The dynamics, touch sensitivity and headroom of the original are all present in this innovative solid-state design. Whether you play rock, country, blues or jazz, the Tone Master '59 Bassman serves up warm, balanced tube tone that sounds and feels like the real deal.

Classic Bassman Speaker Configuration

Four 10" Jensen P10R speakers are essential to the Bassman's signature sound. These vintage-voiced speakers highlight the Tone Master Bassman's tube-like tone with clear highs, tight lows and rich midrange. Their open-back configuration provides wide dispersion for excellent sound in any room. Combined with the digital amp modeling, these speakers make it hard to believe you're not hearing an actual tube amp.

Vintage Style Meets Modern Versatility

While the Tone Master Bassman aims to sonically replicate a vintage amp, it adds modern features for convenience and flexibility. An effects loop allows easy integration with your pedalboard and the reverb adds space without muddying your tone. An output selector provides several power levels from full volume down to a home-friendly 0.2 watts. The XLR line out sends an impulse response of the Bassman's cabinet to front-of-house systems or recording interfaces for the ultimate in tonal authenticity. A lightweight pine cabinet and durable vinyl covering make this amp highly portable.

Premium Components Enhance Your Tone

The Tone Master Bassman is loaded with four 10" Jensen P-10R speakers, known for warm, balanced tone and smooth frequency response. These speakers are perfectly suited to convey the amp's wide dynamic range and touch sensitivity. A solid pine cabinet gives the Bassman a traditional look and sturdy build. When you're ready to experience the legendary sound of a 1959 Fender Bassman, plug into the innovative Tone Master Bassman combo amp.

Before I bought this, I went in the store to compare it to the tube amp version against the Tone Master variation. I couldn't tell the difference between the two, so I bought the Tone Master. I was looking for the tweed sound, but needed a bedroom volume of the overdrive sound it created at higher settings and this amp can switch to lower wattages to do just that. Not only that, but you can switch from vintage to modern speaker settings and have three different cabinet presets you can select from a flip of a switch. It also has its own spring reverb on it which is pretty nice. I absolutely love this amp and I don't see myself ridding of it anytime in the near future.

  • Vintage look at a great price and weight.
