    After thinking about it, I reopened the Squire and realized the switch was shorting itself out on the conductive coating. Took my Dremel to open up some space so nothing touched where the 5 way switch is, and under bridge pick-up. Now this squire sounds great.

    Bridge and neck pickups not putting out sound unless volume up to 10 when switch in either position. Double checked solders, all look good. I've contacted GC for a return/replacement. We'll update if/when the replacement works.
