Fender Stratocaster Original 57/62 Pickup Set - White

I bought a Squire Bullet for $60. Sounded awful but I knew that. I purchased and installed these pickups and they sound great to me. I wanted the older Strat sound because the new stratocasters sound too high, almost scratchy. These give the more original sound that a strat is known for. I only play as a hobby at home, fyi. Also installed Fender locking tuners, and bone nut. Now I have the strat sound for a total of $256. That was the original plan. I think anyone will like these.

Was surprised to see 3 of the exact same pickups in the box. Be careful putting them in as the lead wires wrap around the lower bracket on the outside and are easy to break. I have a lefty and put them in upside down to match the pole pieces and ended up rubbing the middle pickup against the guitar body and breaking one of the wires. Was a pain to repair. Wish the lower plate was triangular as it would have made it easier for lefties to upgrade. I'd have to route out the body to fit them, which I didn't want to do so I put them in "upside down" which probably doesn't help the string balance. Even that way the strings ring out pretty evenly. I upgraded my stock Squire Pro Tone Strat and I think they have a nice tone - well rounded and full but I feel like there isn't the large tone difference neck to middle I had before. I feel like there should different winding or phase on either the middle or neck pickup. Overall pretty happy.

These pickups are legit. The pickups coupled with my Emerson pots, Emerson paper in oil caps and Fender treble bleed cap sounds amazing! The guitar sounds very very expensive. I'm a professional lead guitar player blues and rock and require a pro sound, these are it. Great job Fender and guitar Center.

Perfect Strat sound just what I've been looking for highly recommend these pick ups

Got a nice used Starcaster from you guys for $89 and it played great. I liked it so much I had your techs add the Strat pickups and Fender tuning machines. I love this guitar. Plays and sounds great. Your tech did a great job in installation and was very helpful. I now have a guitar I love at an unbelievable price. My biggest problem is fitting it in with other guitars because I love this one.
