Com'on don't be scared of MIM. This bass is beautiful, sounds as good as it's MIA cousins, and is very affordable. The electronics are solid and the body finish is smooth and flawless, the satin finish neck has great feel no rough spots and the action is fast. Out of the box it was great but I did swap strings to D'Addario XL 100 Flats and did a little truss adjust but that was merely personal choices. If you can find this axe get it and you'll be extremely happy.

My first Fender Jazz. Only 3 months on my journey and can see many great times ahead. I had to adjust the truss rod, but expected with all the changes in temps and conditions from origin to destination. Also had to adjust action for my personal preference, but again expected. Great sound and love the finish and pick guard combination.

Bought this bass online after years of wanting a Jazz bass. Decided to go with this model for the natural finish, and wasn't disappointed. Sounds great, feels good in the hands, and everything is well put together. The only cons is the factory setup was terrible. Strings a mile high of the fret board and buzzing past the 7th fret. After a good setup, it plays beautifully now.

I bought one a couple of months ago and love it. It's hard to see in the photos, but both pickups are 'radiused' just like the fretboard. I especially like the narrow, C shaped neck and the 12 inch radius, which make it easy to play.

Why do you frequently state "information not available" in the specs for Mexican fenders? I'm sure you know that info, are you just hoping people will overspend thinking it's an American Fender?.. Seems very unprofessional. Sure the mx.... Serial number is visible but GC is obviously being deceptive here.

I purchased a MIM ash J Bass from you about a year ago. I found the neck pickup route is about an 1/8" off center from the neck just as the one in your current stock photo. Is this normal on an almost $800 instrument?

    Open Reply - Kenneth
    Yes, that is normal
