the Sonoran sounds nice, bigger than it is. easy fingering. seems to me to be quality construction. the "travel" size makes it handy.
Great mini!

This is a fun guitar and it would work for kids as well if used with lighter strings. It is beautiful and it is made with high quality materials. Do not expect a rich sound that you get from a full size instrument. This is a unique instrument, has a fast neck and plays great intimate melodies and gentle but in your face chords. The original Fender medium-light strings that it ships with sound full but they feel stiff on a short neck. After a year of using the original strings which really have a long life, I recently changed my strings to Elixir extra lights and it feels great. Extra light strings that I now have sound relaxed and a bit nostalgic (in a good way) on this guitar especially with the open chords. Barre chords sound amazing in a unique way. I may try custom light strings next or I may get the same strings again. I modified a Dean Markley Promag sound hole pickup to fit into this guitar and it sounds good. Forget what you know about other guitars, you may need to adopt your style, adjust your speed and let your creativity take control when playing this fine little instrument. Enjoy!
I would buy this guitar again

I bought this guitar to keep on my boat. Really enjoyed it for 2 weeks and the size was perfect, sound was great. It fell over on a carpet and the headstock cracked in half. No problem, it wood and obviously had a weak point. Guitar Center & Fender say it isn't covered under warranty.
