Its good for beginers that aren't doing big shows

I have been playing bass for about 2 1/2 years now and i'm pretty good. I'm in a band that does some shows and i tired this amp once and i couldn't hear myself. Its a good practice amp that can reach volumes pretty high. You can adjust a lot to see what sound you like best. Overall its a good amp to play in small areas but not in huge places like where you would get some gigs from.

Won't blow your socks off, but decent

It's a pretty straightfoward bass amp- active and passive inputs, which is an added bonus- many amps in this price range don't have the active input- 3 band eq., CD in, line out, phones out. It can get loud enough to cover my playing at church, but also works for practice at home. The eq is ok. The CD inputs never worked for me- I get lots of static and there's no volume adjustment for it. The red leds along the bottom that light with your playing can be a distraction, especially e.g. at church. It won't blow you away, but it's not a poor amp either- perfectly respectably workmanlike.

When I tried this amp out at my local GC, the cone was vibrating as soon as I started playing it. The salesman said that the lights in the store were causing it to do that. He grabbed another from the warehouse and I tried that one and it was fine, so I bought it. However, this one starts to do the same thing when I play with it plugged into the active jack for more than 45 minutes or so. If I plug into the passive jack, it's fine. It's going back to the store today.

This bass is pretty cool. My sister uses it for her bass, and when she pluggs in her Ibanez soundgear, it sounds really great. The tone is really good, and believe it or not, we have to use the second input to plug in our karioke box and it sounds good too. It has a nice, clean touch. The amp is good for small practice spaces or for gigs in small places. Since it's only 25w, i have to lower my 38w fender amp a little, but you can still hear the bass. As for a band with a drummer, perhaps you should get a louder amp, but otherwise, if you just simply love practicing or jamming out with your buddies, this amp is pretty good!

I have had no problems with this amplifier in an otherwise 'unplugged' setting with an OLP Guitars MM3 for a source. The Fender/Eminence transducer is well-balanced for tone. Just don't expect this amp to put out enough to keep up with drums; that task requires 100min watts.

this amp is not loud enough to play with the drums or the guitar. the guitarist for my band just got the roland micro cube amp and it tottaly drowns out the rumble 25. i had to get a new amp to even hear it when i'm playing in my band. just like the rumble 15,it makes this annoying buzzing sound past half volume. so i'm begging you please don't get this amp.

This is my bass amp of choice for small places like nursing homes where you don't need to be real loud. It has a good deep tone. Doesn't sound thin at low frequencies. You can't get real loud with it but in small places it is nice because it is light. You can carry this amp, a guitar and a bag all at one time. The lights, I could do without but some people my like them. I love this little amp.
