    I bought these to replace the less-than-desirable knobs that came on my VM Jaguar. Even though they use a different type of mounting (set-screw vs push-on), the set-screws worked just fine with the old pots. The shafts on the old pots are a little smaller than the 1/4" size that these knobs are intended for, but they work just fine. I sure wish Fender would standardize things like this across their products. It would make upgrades a lot easier.

    put them on my V.M. Jaguar along with all new electronics besides the pickups. sounds and plays great.
