Description

The Stratocaster is one of the most iconic of Fender’s esteemed designs since 1954, and this limited-edition Player Tex-Mex Stratocaster electric guitar is one of their highest-selling models due to its shimmering high end, articulate mid-level punch and its full-bodied low end. The Player Tex-Mex Stratocaster encompasses the authentic Fender feel and sound, but also fits into any style of music genre and can accommodate players of all levels.

Features Guitarists Appreciate

The Player Tex-Mex Stratocaster features a solid alder body with the traditional double cutaway for easy soloing across the entire fretboard. It harnesses proprietary single-coil pickups with a reverse polarity in its middle pickup to significantly reduce unwanted buzzes or hums. With these foolproof mechanics, The Player consistently delivers a classic Fender sound with an edgy grit that players love. Its comfortable C-shaped, bolted-on maple neck and smooth finish offers a welcoming touch for easy playability. The revamped, two-point tremolo construction has less friction and is simple to navigate, enabling confident wailing without compromising its rock-steady tuning.

Rock-Solid Mechanics

Additional features of the Player Tex-Mex Stratocaster include master volume and tone controls and a five-way toggle switch that routes incoming signals through five variations of the three pickups’ coils. When switched closest to the neck, your tones are warmer and rich in nature. When switched to the right, or further away from its neck, the guitar’s tone resounds brighter and edgier. A cream-colored three-ply pickguard featuring white hardware creates a retro vibe and a rear, four-bolt metal neck plate features an "F," the official and coveted Fender stamp of approval. It also features a synthetic bone nut and sealed tuning machines.

The Player Tex-Mex Stratocaster truly maintains all the Fender characteristics that guitarists know and love. Pick up yours today and use it to dial in your ideal sound.

This Tex Mex Model has some extra mojo over the regular Player Series guitars. It's beautiful and has incredible pickups. Keeping this one for a very long time

This guitar looks as good in person as it does in the pictures, The Sonic Blue with the mint white pick guard is killer. Mine did not arrive in the original packaging (which I knew) but I reached out to the store manager in North Olmstead "Jake" (where it was being shipped from) shared my expectations and I wasn't disappointed at all. No sharp frets or dead spots, the bridge pickup is ice pick brite but that can be muted by rolling back the dedicated tone control. I find myself using the neck pick up the most compared top my other Strat and the using the middle pick up. They may have come with gig bags at one time when first introduced in 2022, but that isn't the case (no pun intended) any more. Bottom line is I like the guitar.

  • Even more beautiful in person

Bought on Stupid Deal of the Day. Read reviews and thought, "How could I go wrong?" Been an MF customer since late '80's early '90's. Nice guitar, setup was decent, and played outstanding, but.... Had a small ding, no high E string and was an open box. Came wrapped in bubble wrap.

Guitar was advertised as new. Was not. Strings corroded. Dirty, plastic peeled off in places. No trem bar, shipped single box, bubble wrap, no paperwork. Sent back for refund.

Extremely impressed how well this thing was set up out of the box. I think it's the first guitar that I've bought that didn't need something changed. Plays great, sounds great for everything I've played through it. Seems way outside its price range
