Description
Bold, innovative and rugged, the Player Telecaster is pure Fender, through and through. Versatile enough to handle almost anything you can create and durable enough to survive any gig, this workhorse is a trusty sidekick for your musical vision. The dual Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Tele single-coil pickups are crisp and articulate for Fender tone with a modern edge.

The Modern C-shaped maple neck’s comfortable contours and smooth finish are ideal for almost any playing style. By adding a 22nd medium-jumbo fret to the contemporary 9.5”-radius fingerboard, it's easier than ever to express yourself musically. To enhance the traditional twang and bite of a Telecaster, bent-steel saddles were added to the string-through-body bridge for precise intonation and to help your sound cut through the mix, sustaining until the sun burns out.

Other features include master volume and tone controls, a 3-way pickup switch with barrel tip, 3-ply pickguard, synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree, sealed tuning machines and a four-bolt "F"-stamped neck plate that marks this instrument as the real deal.

Fender gave the finish the name British Racing Green after visually comparing it to Triumph motorcycles, Mini Coopers and vintage Aston Martin models in the same color and feeling they got a good match.

Quarter Pound pickups are amazing. Fantastic cleans but easily coaxed into a growl. #sweepstakes

I love the color and factory installed Seymour Duncan pickups. I upgraded to Fender locking tuners and installed a .047 mf orange drop capacitor and puretone jack/electro jack plate . I then "upgraded" back to a Fender traditional brass 3-saddle bridge and now it sounds like a Telecaster should. I got a Fender G and G case with Schaller strap locks and Fender baseball leather strap and now it ready to rock!

  • The Tele is amazing!

This is my third Tele…and the least "vintage." The Quarter Pounders are excellent and take it to another level. Lots of punch and definitely more humbucker sounding than single coil. Lots of mids. If you're looking for a hot rodded Tele, this delivers…and at a great price. Fit & finish is outstanding on mine. Ready to play out of the box. Tune it & go. The photos don't do it justice.

This guitar is fire 🔥 I always wanted a telecaster and when I saw this beautiful limited edition green one I had to check it out. Used the guitar center app on my phone and the guitar was on my porch in a few days. Out of the box fit and finish was excellent. Also guitar was set up perfectly. Action, pickups, neck relief. The Seymour Duncan pickups sound loud and clear and the neck profile is perfect.I absolutely love this guitar.

Just picked up my new British Racing Green tele and I've yet to put it down! The SD pickups are amazing and worth every cent. The neck and fret board are so smooth and the setup from the factory is great! The color is something else too. For my 1st Tele I couldn't be more stoked!
