The Player Series Stratocaster | Player Series | Fender
Description
The Fender Player Telecaster HH Maple Fingerboard electric guitar delivers pure Fender tone and feel with a modern edge. Loaded with dual Player Series humbuckers, it packs enough punch for pounding rock yet cleans up nicely for classic Tele twang, thanks to push-pull coil-splitting. The fast-playing maple neck and 9.5"-radius fingerboard make expressive techniques fluid and fun.
Player Series Humbuckers Deliver Throaty Tones
The pair of Player Series humbuckers serve up muscular, articulate tones from clean to crunchy and everything between. Engage the push-pull tone pot to split the coils for bright, jangly single-coil sounds. This sonic flexibility makes the Telecaster HH ideal for tackling almost any musical genre.
Modern Neck and Fingerboard For Smooth Action
The Telecaster HH's "Modern C"-shaped maple neck provides a comfortable feel for various playing styles. Its 9.5"-radius fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets, enabling expressive techniques with ease. A synthetic bone nut enhances vibrational transfer for optimal tone.
Six-Saddle Bridge Supplies Punch and Precision
The six-saddle string-through body bridge provides rock-solid intonation and a stout fundamental tone. Its bent-steel saddles add a touch of "spank" to the sound, helping cut through any mix. Fender standard sealed tuners deliver reliable tuning stability for consistent performance.
Classic Styling Meets Contemporary Playability
The alder body's gloss finish and 3-ply pickguard evoke Fender tradition. Along with the maple neck and fingerboard, they give the Telecaster HH a familiar feel while updated features cater to today's players. Overall, this guitar provides timeless Fender tone and vibe with modern playability—the perfect musical workhorse.

Always wanted a telecaster but tend to like the sound of humbuckers more so this was a win win. Overall I'm really pleased with this guitar. The tidepool blue is an amazing looking color ( has a very slight sparkle/flake when you look at it closely ) but it's a very unique kind of blue you don't see on a lot of guitars. The only real complains I have on it are out of the box, it needed some basic setup done to it. Action wasn't bad but the intonation was pretty off but it's not a huge deal because I usually always take it to my shop to have them set it up when I get a new guitar anyways. The other issue was the pickups to me sound a little muddy but some of it might also be what I have my board setup for currently based off my other guitar. And also the others were two pick guard screws I noticed were already stripped when I went to take the pick guard off to change it. Not a huge deal but you think they'd have a little better quality control from the factory. Not really enough for me to take off a star though

If you're a casual player and this is your first time buying a nice guitar, I can't recommend this enough for you. For you spec lovers, I use a BOSS Katana 50W Amp. Nothing else. This purchase was a big jump for me. Before this, all my instruments stayed under $200. I knew there was better stuff out there, but I was happy with what I had. Let me be clear, this guitar was NOT my first choice. I was still hesitant to put so much money into one guitar, so I needed it to tackle any genre. That led me to The Big 3 (You know the ones). I heard that Tele "ring" and fell IN LOVE. The one I fell for, it was a Telecaster HS. Broke my heart to see that price, but what can ya do when you're a college student? Budgets are nothing new. I "settled" for this. And let me immediately take back when I just said "settled." This thing ROCKS! I've played anything from Slipknot to Daniel Caesar on it. The feel is smooth but precise. The pickups are punchy but warm, complimenting the treble of a Tele nicely. My favorite small touch is the belly cut. The Tele doesn't dig into my ribs and I can feel the vibrations travel through my body as it resonates. The coil tap consoles my broken heart, when I need that single coil in the bridge.

I need a thin narrow neck due to very small hands. Is this thin?
