Description

The Fender Player Series Jazz Bass neck features a comfortable, modern “C”-shaped profile and fretless 9.5”-radius pau ferro fingerboard. The nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves, ensuring that spacing is a breeze when performing the final string slot filing, and the neck includes a satin finish on the back for smooth playability. For true Fender authenticity, it is serialized and stamped with a genuine spaghetti logo headstock decal.

This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier by Fender bass. Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to bass bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket and other instrument setup procedures.

what are the chances of this fitting a 1986 MIJ Fender P-Bass? Original 4 bolt blonde neck. I realize it may need slight fitting adjustment and nut work but, is it reasonable to assume a competent tech can fit it?
