Description
The Fender Player Plus Stratocaster delivers distinctive style and superior playability for guitarists seeking a versatile instrument. At its core are a set of Player Plus Noiseless pickups that provide a bright and responsive tone without hum, offering a refined take on the classic Stratocaster sound you know and love. A push/pull pot on the tone control unlocks the neck pickup on switch positions one and two—for access to pickup combinations not found on most Strats.

Fluid Fretting
The Player Plus Stratocaster's 12" radius maple fingerboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets let you execute leads and bends with ease. The neck's silky satin finish and rolled edges fit comfortably in your hand as you explore the fingerboard.

Expressive Vibrato
A smooth and responsive 2-point tremolo bridge gives you classic Stratocaster vibrato effects to add expression to your playing. The bridge's solid steel block and saddles provide optimal transfer of string vibration to the body for a resonant tone.

Rock-Solid Tuning
The Player Plus Stratocaster's locking tuners provide rock-solid tuning stability to keep you in tune through long practice or live performance sessions. They also make string changes a quick and frustration-free process.

She really looks, feels, and sounds like a high-end guitar
Beautiful guitar, I mean wow. This girl is pretty, not only pretty but set up real well, string height, pickup height, she was even in tune just flat some. But after tuning even the intonation was excellent. Whoever set her up at the manufacturer payed attention to what they were doing. The noiseless pickups are really, really nice, no hum at any switch position. They're quiet like humbuckers but with the strat clearness. The push/pull tone knob adds the neck pickup to switch positions 1 & 2 that gives a full, clear sound different from normal strats. The hardware color description said 'hybrid' and I didn't notice that in the description at first but, in person the frets have a gold-like plating that matches well with the silver tuners and silver bridge and the goldness of the 3-color sunburst body and maple fretboard. When you shine a light on the frets they look silver though. She really looks, feels, and sounds like a high-end guitar.

Poor manufacturing quality.
The quality of this guitar is terrible for the price. Several of the fret slots were cut too deep and there is a gap between the fret and the fret slot. Despite the 12inch radius, I can't get the action low because of high frets (checked with a fret rocker). Terrible for the money.

I love the 12" radius of the neck and the rolled edges. It has great play-ability and effortless bends. Love the all short shaft locking tuners. The push pull on tone 2 knob to add the neck pick-up. The pick-ups are the best I have heard! And a nice gig bag - awesome!

I've had the guitar for about a year and a half now, and to be honest, I haven't felt the need to buy another electric guitar since getting this one since it plays so nicely. The neck is incredible and it sounds just as good as an American series Fender in my opinion.
Best guitar in my arsenal so far!!!!!!!

Hello, I like this guitar but I have heard that maple fretboards are harder to bend than rosewood fretboards, is that true ?
Not at all. If anything maple would be easier as it's harder.submitted3 years ago

How heavy is this guitar? I have a Fender modern player telecaster and it gets heavy after awhile. Looking for a strat that weighs less than that.
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 7.5 – 9.0 lbs. Strats are traditionally lighter than Tele's.submitted4 years ago

What is meant by 'Blemished'? Can you describe exactly why it is listed as such? Exactly what is wrong?
I’m sorry, we don’t know what the blemish is. The blemishes will be perhaps minor scratches, average handling wear. There will be no effect on playability or soundsubmitted4 years ago
