The Player Series | Fender

Description
In response to low-priced import competition, Fender created the Lead Series in 1979 featuring a new solidbody design, hardtail bridges and cool new wiring options. Appealing to a wide variety of players, the sleek new Lead models kicked off a fresh creative era in Fender's history.

The Fender Player Lead III, a tribute to the original 1982-only model, features a set of hot Alnico 2 Player humbucking pickups, dual-toggle switches for pickup selection and coil-splits and a modern "C" neck shape with medium jumbo frets.

The Player Lead Series offers style, power and versatility in a comfortable, easy-to-play package.

This guitar reminds me of the short scale line Fender brought out a few year back. I was not expecting to be smaller than a strat. Reminds me length wise and play wise of a Duo-Sonic. Standard player humbuckers and I will likely upgrade these. Their solid enough but I'm looking for a little more punch. Very solid platform, the bridge and saddle are nice. Tuners stay in tune. I picked up one of these in purple. They color is not a solid purple and had a metal sparkle to it. Very unique. I went with the Lead 3 because you can split the coils and get 2 single coils, whereas if you get a Lead 2 you will be stuck with single coils and not have the versatility of having both a humbucker and a single coil.

Hello I am interested in purchasing this fender. My question is I wanna make payment in two ways. I have $500 credit card with guitar center and I wanna pay the rest with my bank card. Is it possible for me to do this?
