Definitely worth a look ..

As soon as I knew about the mustang micro plus with its 50 amp sims and compatibility with the fender tone app, I was calling the guitar centers to ask if they had them in stock. I have both the micro and micro plus now. Both are great, but the display and additional sims push the microplus to the top. The original is still a great unit and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it - for me the leds were hard to remember what the colors represented. I can use both as a2d inputs , so trying to sell or trade in the original isn't a priority. Honestly thinking about getting a wireless interface because it is easier to see the screen unplugged - on the guitar you are tilting it some - but with the fender tone app - you don't always need to . Hard to believe the original mustang came out 2-3 years ago. I think software updates ( not hardware) are going to keep expanding the capabilities of the micro plus . This is definitely ideal as a practice setup. If you're starting out - you can put your money into the instrument , not pedals or a large amp. Recording - this is a hidden feature of both the micro and micro plus - and yes you can use both together at the same time as a2d channel inputs

Just not good - get a good pair of headphones instead.

TLDR: Get a good set of headphones (for less than this amp), and plug into your full amp to practice. Maybe I am picky, but this thing just doesn't sound good. I wish they had a demo unit in store. Maybe I was hoping for too much from a little pocket amp. Can't connect blue tooth headphones, which is annoying. Delay of about 50-100 milliseconds from strumming to actually producing sounds. I don't get all the high reviews, maybe they were fake, or bought reviews?

Fender Mustang micro plus has a built in tuner, and access to iPhone to program your circuit of pedals. Bluetooth gives you a great advantage to practice with the songs, or metronome. Good practice tool for beginners advanced or professional players!

I have a small child and i play in my office. Whenever i play he wants to come in my office and i have to stop. I own several other options, including a pod go that i could also use with headphones, but it's not as easy, quick and portable as this little thing. I feel like i've been playing so much lately with this. You can send stuff from your phone to this so you can jam along your music. The app is very friendly and with tons of options. I really think that for the price, this is a must have.

This is a nice upgrade from the regular Mustang Micro. You can create patches on your phone with Fender's app, and adjust all the effect parameters to what you'd like them to be. I own both headphone amps. The quality is quite good for such a small gadget.

Nice little headphone amp. I bought this for practice without bothering other people in the house. Easy to use and the app. Is very user friendly. Bluetooth connection is nice for playing along with backing tracks. I would buy this again.
