Big Noise In A Little Box
First of all, I have to admit - I was skeptical about this little amp (as well as others like it); but having used it for a while: WOW! I would not have believed it if I had not heard and played through it myself (of course, I bought it). The sound is quite suprising, considering it is coming from two 2" speakers and being driven by only 1 watt. This is a GREAT practice amp, and I like the fact that it has an output jack for headphones that disables the main speakers. Distortion/overdrive is easily attained by turning the gain knob to suit your needs, the amp can run on a 9-volt battery for hours (trust me on that one), or you can connect an ac adapter to the included jack. The tilt-back rest helps prevent the amp from tipping when a cable is plugged in and makes it easier to read/use the controls. The one thing I could only ask for is a belt clip or attachment for a strap to carry it along. Overall, in a word: COOL.

dont buy this
First of all, you can get a much better practice amp for much cheaper and you can get a much better bigger amp for just 10 or 15 more dollars. After about a month of using it, it stopped working. Sometimes sound will come out, but when it does it sounds horrible.

This little amp sounds great. I practice with it all the time. I'm a professional gigging musician. I own many amps. If you use this for what's its made for (home practice) you won't be disappointed.

It is easy to use but I get a lot of random radio sounds from the amp. I would not buy it again though.
For practice or messing around

I use it as a little fuzz box when I want to mess around. The Main thing I like about it is you don't have to plug it in, it takes a 9v battery and it has a headphone plug. So you can literally play it anywhere, even in your car parked somewhere or at a picnic in the park or on your neighbors porch at 3am (lol not really though). It's obviously not going to be astonishing, none of any little mini amps are, afterall it's a little plastic speaker box just like all the rest of them. But I've played it to a chime thru my single coils and a good fuzzy tone too. I put my wah thru it, it'll take pedals but the dynamics aren't all there, it will be lacking in some range of depth. You put it on the wrong setting and it'll sound bad and brittle, just like any amp. You gotta know how to adjust the knobs. If you have a quality instrument and know how to play it, you can make this thing sound good.
Cute novelty prouct

It's a novelty item I keep on my desktop. I can actually play my guitar through it, but it doesn't produce "good" tone. However, it does produce a tone that sounds 'cheap' but not horrible if you make a little effort to 'dial in' the best sound you can get working with what you've got. This is not a product for gigging or recording. It is what it is.
Shielding did not prevent noise

I had to return because it was picking up local radio stations. I am close to a transmission tower and could not avoid the issue. Had to return and pay shipping.
