This is a very cool little amp. It runs on batterys, and is small enough to fit in my guitarcase. Anywhere my guitar goes I can have an amp. I tried out the two marshall mini-amps and the honey-tone, and I much prefer this one. It provides plenty more distortion and is cheaper than most mini-amps. I can't say how long the battery last, as I'm still on the first one, but its held out awhile. I recommend this amp to anyone looking for portability, value, or just something that won't drive neighbors crazy (although its still capable of annoying them if you live in an apartmet or dorm building). It does what its meant to do very well.

Will it rock out a full-house venue? No. But this little guy has a voice! I almost laughed when I took it out of the box, how small and light it was, but when I plugged it in, I instantly respected it! Great sound, adjustable tone and drive, and a volume you wouldn't believe while still maintaining clarity! And EXTREMELY inexpensive! Very compact for easy storage, but sounds like a speaker system you'd get in your room!

This is a surprisingly good amp. At first I thought it would not be what we needed because it is SO small. But, it's a Fender and it lives up to the name. It has plenty of output for a beginner. For beginners - and someone who doesn't want "the roof blown off" while their child practices - you can't go wrong!!

This guitar is so cool. It has the best sound and tone. My mom real blikes it to because she was not so crazy about me getting an amp because of it's loud sound. but this one can be almost silent our Loud.IT ROCKS!!!!

this thing rocks. gets great sound and tone. the distortion knob is lots of fun, somthing that the mini marshall dosn't have. sounds awesome clean to. great amp to take around to friends house to jam with. great to play with phones. This thing can also get plenty loud.

I dig this lil amp. Great for practicing in the house when I dont want to knock my neighbors over. Surprisingly good tones in the clean to moderately overdriven range. Can't spent a better few bucks

I can't beleive I'm saying this, but big Is'nt always better. This little amp can go louder than my 20inch amp. It's loud,affordable, and portable. Speaking of portable, this amp can run on battery power, which means no more bulky cables to untangle or trip over. Or if I want my amp to stay on for a long time, I can use an ac/dc cable. Above all, this amp is loud and clear - no buzzing, no popping, no nonsense. Every guitarist in my band whishes that he/she had an amp like mine.

I ended up getting this amp for free, so I thought that this wouldn't be that good. But after playing it I thought it was pretty great,and because its battery powered you can play guitar where ever you want!

Believe it or not, Fender does it again. This little amp is awesome. However, it's not perfect. It's like a miniature stage amp, so it plays really well, and really loudly, and has great tone quality. The only complaints I have are that it's not small enough to fit in a case, and it doesn't have a clip to fit on your belt. If it was smaller or had that clip, it would definitely get 5 stars from me.

This little amp is okay. Very comparable to Dean Markley, and Honeytone Miniamps. Fender quality alright but the controls are hard to find on the fly and the whole belt clip thing leaves me cold because controls are upside down and sound is directed down.

i bought this so i could play my guitar around the house without carrying my other amp. it has a pretty good tone, as long as you don't turn the drive up all the way. but don't use this as your only amp, no matter what level you are at, this is just something meant to be portable and should not replace a full sized amp.

This is an amazing. The sound is better than my $100 one . It is better than the honeytone and the Marshall mini amps. I was impressed . I like it because it fits in my guitar case. It's better than what you would expect for the price. I am amazed.

For a little amp it's not too bad. Does it compare to my $1500 dollar amp, no. But for a little $40.00 amp it's quite adequite. So if you looking for something portable with reasonably good fidelity this is a good buy. But if your expecting this to sound like a more expensive amp you should look further.

When I pulled this thing out of the box that it was shipped in, I honestly felt like I was the butt of a practical joke - the amp is TINY! That said, it packs quite a punch for such a small amp. It's not going to provide professional sound quality, but if you're buying this amp, you're most likely not selling out Madison Square Garden. Overall, it's a great little amp, it has a great sound, and it is an amazing value.

Even my husband was surprised at the GREAT sound and he has recorded professionally! It was used outside my home for the first time, this past weekend and did a FANTASTIC job amplifying my guitar in the small room (without needing to crank it up to the max). There are features on this amp that my larger amp does not have, such as, being able to sustain/distort the sound! In addition, it looks like a mini version of a professional amp. It wouldn't surprise me, if it ends up getting used by me more than my larger amp. I'll DEFINITELY plan on bringing it to places where the sound system and/or electricity may be unreliable!

It is amazing what this little thing sounds like. I use it in the house at night and plug my headphones in it and I can move around to different rooms. Really cool.
