The bass itself was great. I would recommend it, unless your looking for something with a bit more fret range.

This bass has a clear punchy sound. Great for rock, punk and any other genre you want to adapt it too.
BETTER than my American Basses

I ordered this one because I wanted a telecaster bass, and because I just got a year contract to play with the Circus. Since I knew they would be flying me in and out to play jobs, I didn't want to fly an American. The joke is Mexicans are made in Mexico by Mexicans. Americans are made in America by Mexicans. I play long shows, and quite often put the guitar on my back and play the upright and then back. And so on. I'm finding the thumb position because of the 59 pickup is far superior, and the sound is perfect across all strings and neck. The Americans? By the end of the night I had a sore thumb. Also, when playing slap is required, I actually get a better sound with this one. That's important, if I need a smooth, bass sound I use the Yamaha SLB 200 upright. The misinformed phone jockeys at Guitar Center told me I needed a case? This bass comes with a TSA approved Fender case. The Gator case I ordered at the same time wasn't needed, and when you compare the two cases? The Fender is actually better! I have no clue who Mike Dirnt is. I do know this bass only needed to be tuned when I took it out of the box. If that was his production requirement, they certainly succeeded. Basically this is a souped up, 1951 Telecaster (precision) bass. I recommend it!
Great service!

Love this bass to death. I got this bass a little over a year or two ago and it's still my favorite thing to jam with. Since I have to take it around a lot the road worn body definitely makes me feel connected to this thing. The pick ups are so punchy and lively compared to most of the other p bass iterations I've gone through. Overall I can't say enough good things about this bass. Go buy it now
Best bass i own. Its perfect.

Interested in this item. With blemished, is there any way a description of the blemish or picture can be emailed. If not, can blemished items be returned? This has a worn finish so not too concerned. Also its described as white, but shows sunburst. Looking for white black blonde. Thank You! Jay
Unfortunately additional pictures are unavailable. Blemishes are slight and do not affect the tone or play ability of the instrument.submitted6 years ago
