Fender Marine Layer Reverb Pedal

Fender

collapse expand iconDescription

Reverb is an essential element in nearly any rig. Whether you’re adding dimension to your sound or drenching your signal in sparkling reflections, Fender's Marine Layer Reverb pedal can do it all. Multiple reverb types, including classics like Hall and Room along with modern marvels like Shimmer, make this an indispensable pedal in your signal chain. The reverb tails continue when the effect is muted, ensuring a smooth and natural decay.

Designed by Fender's in-house team of experts, the Marine Layer Reverb is an all-original circuit. They consulted with a plethora of players while designing this pedal, and the resulting stompbox is packed with stage-ready features.

The chassis is crafted from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, and the Amp Jewel LED gives your pedalboard the classic Fender look. The LED-backlit knobs show your control settings on a dark stage at a glance. The designers even made swapping batteries quicker and easier with their exclusive “patent applied for," magnetically latched 9V battery door.

Create full and lush sounds with Fender’s new Marine Layer Reverb.

This replaced my boss rv6 and it met two key qualifications: good sounds and easy to dial in. The hall and special Reverbs are great and the dry kill switch is great for many applications. Check it out!

  • A truly great reverb pedal.

I've had several reverb pedals in my life and in some cases they have too many options or unusable tones. not the case with this pedal. Every setting is useful, from the hall to the room to the modulated reverbs. Each reverb has a second variant, from a small room to a big room, two types of hall reverbs, plus the modulated tones are a chorus like effect and probably the best sounding shimmer I've ever heard. There is also a filter switch that takes some of the high end out of the reverb, giving it a slightly darker tone. I'm really happy with this pedal and it will have a permanent place on my board.

  • A ton of fun.

Read a review of this product on the Pedal Show. Said it was one of their favorite reverbs. I took the recommendation and, based on Fenders reputation, purchased. It hasn't disappointed.

  • Perfect pedal for its class

This was the perfect pedal for an acoustic electric straight into a PA for a small wedding ceremony. Just a nice layer of reverb to dampen the tone and provide a nice background of bed music. The 9V battery power option is also beneficial in this application.

  • Great, versatile reverb!

My main amp is a Fender '65 reissue Princeton with great reverb, BUT, this takes it up a notch! I really like it when playing solo for a fuller sound. Great on chord melodies and arpeggios.

The Fender Marine Layer Reverb Effects Pedal will "work" but it's not designed for vocals.

I connect the Fender Marine Layer Reverb Effects Pedal to my amp and guitar in the correct way, and I put the battery in in pedal too, but seems like the pedal does not work. Hope you guys can solve this problem for me ASAP.

When I use the Fender Marine Layer Reverb Effects Pedal, I connect the output of the pedal to the input of my amp and input of the pedal to my guitar, but the pedal does not work. I mean the switch Green light is on, but the rest of purple lights are all off.
