Fender 5 guitar stand

I'll probably not be folding this up any time soon but its good for holding 5 guitars. I have a 7 guitar stand from a competitor and it's a notch below the Fender in quality. The stand is sturdy and well padded. It takes a careful hand to set or remove guitars without banging them into each other. A caution not exclusive to the Fender stand. If you need to wrangle multiple guitars, this is certainly better than individual stands both for organization and floor space. All black, its a nice presentation also. No slipping or sliding, the guitar goes in at an angle and stays there. If I came across another 5 guitars I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. I think it could use another couple of inches width however. Adding an acoustic is a tight squeeze.

Don't get this rack, even if it's free

If you have anything more than toy inflatable guitars, this thing will not hold more than two. You'd be lucky with that. The instructions say not to tighten things so much the rack isn't able to fold. But that's a useless direction because you can't possibly tighten things that tight. I tightened everything as tight as possible and put an acoustic and a hollowbody on and it just tilted backwards. If you put this up against a wall, your guitars will end up being supported by the headstock, not the rack. Absolutely horrible product.

So far, just used for home storage, but would be good for stage use.

Not a bad stand. Pretty basic and easy enough to put together. Perhaps a little more expensive than comparable ones by lesser known companies, but overall it's a good stand for a decent price.

  • Perfect stand for my excessive amount of guitars!

eh. really difficult to fit the legs together properly and it was missing the needed washers. I wouldn't recommend.
