I bought this workhorse after downgrading from a Fender Roc Pro 1000 half-stack (the thing was just too big), and I am extremely happy. I've heard hundreds of amps and this one simply has the best solid state distortion of any combo amp in the price range. The clean channel is heavenly, as with most Fender amps... but I was sold on the Drive/More Drive channel. It's perfect for adding that extra boost in volume and sustain when you need it for solos. It's very versatile, with enough warm growl to satisfy blues and rock players, and cranked up it'll satisfied all but the most selective hard rock/metal players. My only beef with the amp is that there isn't a switch on the foot pedal to turn on and off the reverb, so I have to run back and turn the knob down manually. I'm not sure if I could just buy the 3-button pedal or not, but it's only a minor problem. I use it primarily in a live atmosphere with the volume and drive both set to 3, miked up with a simple SM57... and I constantly receive compliments on the clarity and tone. Highly recommended if you're not in the market specifically for a tube amp.

This amp is great. I was looking at getting the 100 watt mx...something by Marshall but decided to get this to get more for my buck and I absolutely love it. As these other guys tell you its very loud. I have to keep it on the lowest volume level possible on my guitar and this amp and my parents still yell at me to turn it down. Awesome amp all together.

This is a great amp i can use it with a guitar and with a bass too but don't plug a microphone in befor you turn of the dis. Every body in my band loves this amp altough it does have a buzzing sound when i turn on the treble so i just turn that to zero and use an effects box . This can get extremly loud i'm going to buy another one because its great. My lead singer doesn't even like fender but he loves this amp

Don'tlet these metalheads fool you, obviously an amp isn't gonna last too long if you through gain through the roof and blast it as loud as you can, medium distortion works great for blues, southern and classic rock. I love the reverb on it.It's just a good solid machine that'll bring the best out of the least. I had the whole house shaking with this beauty, get it and take care of it and it'll take care of you.

I got this Amp about 8 or 9 months ago and I love this thing. My lead guitarist doesn't even use his own amp he loves mine more than his. We've taken this out to a couple of shows, it looks kinda small but man this thing will get the job done at 100 watts this is an amazing deal. ITs got a great tone, great volume, looks nice and has the Fender name so you know its quality made. I suggest picking this one up if your looking for a 100 watt Amp for a good price.

I recently bought this amp and it is very well made. I have not faced any kind of problem like cabient buzz or electrical noises etc. The features are quite limited in this amp but who cares when you have plenty of effects available in the market go get the one you like the best. I always believe in simplicity and here what it is all about, no problem to set your tone, you get it there just in few seconds very simple to tackle. I mostly use Boss effect pedals with this amp and this amp then sound really good. The clean channel is not that loud but if you use a graphic equalizer and a compressor then it sounds fantastic. The overall sound quality is great and I have not noticed any loud hiss, it is rather very quiet. The loud speakers are very good with large cones which gives extra sound boost to this amp. I use my effects through effect loop though it work quite well but I have noticed a slight decrease in power. So its your choice to choose which suits the best. I liked the drive sound and more drive sound is also good with bundle of sustain and these are quite useable indeed. There is a hiss noise on the overdrive channel but it is normal with every amp. I like the features that it has portions located at the back of amp to tighten up the foot switch and power cable. The foot switch and its connecting cable both are very good as far quality is concerned. The over all finshing is great. I am surprised that this amp has no ventilation slots at the back pannel and also there is no heat sink plate for cooling the power transistors. I think Fender should consider this flaw. This amp is brillant if you are using your own effects however it is still works very well without them.
