Fender FE620 Electric Guitar Gig Bag Black

I've been having a hard time finding information online regarding which gig bag would be a good fit for my new Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster. I read a lot of reviews, measured multiple times, then pulled the trigger on this one and hoped for the best. I ordered from Guitar Center since they have a great return policy should I need it. The gig bag was delivered quickly and in good condition. Best of all, this bag is a perfect fit!!! I really like that this gig bag functions similarly to a case when you open it. The "lid" flips all the way back 180 degrees, making it easier to get the guitar in and out. Another great feature is the neck rest, which is able to be repositioned to achieve a custom fit. There is a convenient spot to stow the backpack straps so they aren't seen if you don't like them. I've read a lot of reviews for Fender gig bags where the user had quality issues with the fabric ripping. From what I've read, it seems that this issue is mostly caused by using the backpack straps, so I've opted to stow the straps and use the nice padded handle instead. I've had it for about a month and so far this gig bag has worked out great for the Acoustasonic. Hopefully this review will help others who are trying to find the answer to this question like I was. After opening I found more and more utility. There were many pockets, compartments, and pouches. The grip on the head and bottom make it very easy to stand up. My favorite part however is the straps on the back so you can wear it like a backpack.

Bought this for my Sire T7; fits well. Other than the backpack straps being a little higher than optimal (puts the neck pretty high over my head) very pleased with the product

The bag is very nice and seems to be well made. I've only had it for a week or so and time will tell. I bought it because it fully opens unlike many others gig bags. My problem is that the largest front pocket will not close if there is an 8 1/2 sheet of paper or a sheet music book in the pocket. I usually carry my work in a file folder to my lessons and that will absolutely keep the pocket from zipping fully. A minor inconvenience to be sure but keeps me from giving a five star rating.

Bought this for my Schecter Omen 6, since the Schecter bag is expensive and doesn't look like it would protect very well. I can't say for the long run but for now this bag is awesome for the price and the Schecter fits perfectly. I have a gap big enough i can slide my finger through.
