this acoustic bass guitar is actually very awesome. It looks very elegant with a very nice finish. However, your options for a bag/case to ensure it is safe while travelling is very limited and all fender has is a bag which is the Fender FAB405 Long Scale Acoustic Bass Guitar Gig Bag. I have not yet found a case that would suit this bass coz my trusted associates at my closest guitar center tried a standard acoustic bass case, the body fits but the tuning pegs are set in a way that they won't fit the standard hard cases. If anyone from Guitar Center or Fender could recommend a suitable HARD CASE, that would be much appreciated.
I would buy it again

Forget what you've heard about Acoustic Basses. This thing has a great feel and a great sound. I love the big traditional tuners. The only drawback is that its kinda hard to find a case that it will fit properly in. I bought a roadrunner case and had to modify it to accommodate the keys.
Excellent acoustic bass !

I use this to perform in our church band on stage. We often do a "plugged-in" acoustic set with a few of us and this bass over-achieved in our system.
Easy to play and great sound

Needs a hard case to fit around the wide tuning pegs. I've not yet found a case that fits.

I am Amazed at the construction, playability and looks of this affordable acoustic bass guitar. The action and feel of this bass allows me to play every style and technique that I'm able to play on electric bass.

What is the neck profile? I'm looking for the deep C
Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of acoustic bass models explicitly labeled with a "Deep C" neck profile, but some basses in general do have a thicker neck that might align with what you're looking for. Here are a few options that might have a fuller neck profile and could provide the feel of a Deep C: Fender American Acoustasonic Bass Neck Profile: The Acoustasonic Bass has a neck that is thicker and more substantial than typical acoustic bass guitars, designed for comfort and ease of playing. While it isn't officially labeled as a Deep C, the neck offers a fuller, more rounded shape that could meet your needs. Body Style: The Acoustasonic Bass features a solid body design with advanced electronics for both acoustic and electric-style sounds. Key Features: Built-in pickup system, lightweight body, and a versatile tone palette that blends both acoustic and electric bass tones. 2. Guild B-240E Acoustic Bass Neck Profile: The Guild B-240E is known for its comfortable neck, which provides a fuller feel than many other acoustic basses. It may not be a "Deep C," but it’s a thicker, rounded neck profile that might feel similar to what you're looking for. Body Style: Dreadnought-sized acoustic bass body. Key Features: Solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and Guild’s Fishman Sonitone pickup system. 3. Ibanez AEB Series (AEB10, AEB5, etc.) Neck Profile: The Ibanez AEB series offers acoustic bass guitars with a more substantial neck. While not marketed as a Deep C, the necks are thicker and more rounded than typical bass necks, making them suitable for players looking for something fuller. Body Style: Full-sized acoustic bass with a natural resonance. Key Features: Built-in electronics, solid construction, and good projection. 4. Takamine G Series GB72CE Neck Profile: Takamine’s GB72CE is an acoustic bass guitar with a more substantial neck profile compared to typical basses in its price range. While it’s not a Deep C, it offers a rounded and full feel that might be to your liking. Body Style: Concert-sized body with a cutaway for easier access to higher frets. Key Features: Solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and built-in electronics for live performances. 5. Yamaha TRBX Series (TRBX304, TRBX504) - Acoustic/Electric Option Neck Profile: While primarily electric, Yamaha’s TRBX Series basses feature a thick, comfortable neck, and there are some acoustic-electric versions that offer a natural acoustic sound. These basses often have a full neck profile, though they may not be a traditional Deep C shape. Body Style: Electric bass with acoustic capabilities due to their natural resonance. Key Features: Active electronics, strong bass response, and comfort for longer playing sessions.submitted3 years ago

fromveazie maine
what bass guitar case should I get for my fender fa-450ce acoustic-electric bass 3-color sunburst?
Due to the shape you would need to either get a gig bag, or we can reach out to Fender and look into if they make a fitted hard shell case for it and if so look into special ordering it. If you'd like to go that route you can email us at YourVoice@GuitarCenter.com and we can look into it for you.
