Fender Deluxe Telecaster Thinline Pau Ferro Fingerboard Electric Guitar 3-Color Sunburst
Description
Two noise-free, highly articulate Vintage Noiseless™ Tele pickups produce rich, detailed tone, with the balanced string response, definition and twang you've come to expect from a Tele. The semi-hollow construction imparts seductively warm overtones to the traditional Tele sound, creating a slightly throatier voice. Four-way switching adds an exciting dimension to the traditional Tele pickup combinations—position four combines the bridge and neck pickups in series for hotter output and punchier midrange.
Enjoy increased sustain and slightly thicker tone that complements the famous Tele twang, thanks to the modern six-saddle sting-through-body bridge with block saddles. A contoured neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate make it easy to comfortably reach the upper registers of the neck. The flatter 12 in.-radius fingerboard makes it easy to play fast leads and perform deep bends without fretting out. Locking tuning machines with vintage-style buttons provide enhanced tuning stability, along with quicker string changes.
The alder body bears a highly durable gloss polyurethane finish that will easily stand up to hard playing, keeping the instrument like new for years to come. Classic aesthetic touches include nickel/chrome hardware and a four-ply aged white pearloid pickguard, along with knurled flat-top control knobs and a black switch tip. For players who want classic Fender semi-hollowbody tone with a bit of edge, the Deluxe Telecaster Thinline is ready to step up with its modern features and authentic style. Includes gig bag.

I liked the guitar second attempt at owning this model 1st was used and returned for ?ground issue on tone knob. 2nd attempt decided to go new and avoid the possible issues from buying new. Guitar arrived in a timely manner. I really liked everything about the guitar except the terrible setup out of the box. I expect this to a degree, so took it to my local luthier for a set up. So bummed when he told me to return the guitar because the truss rod was non functional neck twisted. Really? Twisted neck on a new $1000.00+ guitar. At this point not sure I want to attempt again holding off for now. Customer Service rep Cody was great and very helpful throughout purchase and return process.

The flat fingerboard and sculpted neck heel/plate make this a an easy guitar to play solos on. Very light and balanced on a strap. Open and airy played acoustically. Darker sounding than a standard Tele played through a DSL 40 with Creamback speakers; keeps the jangle through an AC 15 loaded with a Celestion Blue. Pickups virtually noiseless with my pedal board through my DRRI.

Hello thinking of buying a Fender Deluxe Telecaster Thinline Pau Ferro Fingerboard Electric Guitar 3-Color Sunburst...Do these guitars come (set-up) also how much does this guitar weigh?
They come with the standard setup from Fender, so there may need to be some slight adjustment for optimal play-ability, but it will arrive in playable condition. and the weight is 7lbs.
