Fender Classic Series '72 Tele Deluxe Neck, 3-Bolt Mount, 21 Vintage-Style Frets - Maple Fingerboard
Description
Crafted at the Ensenada, Mexico manufacturing facility, this genuine vintage-style 3-bolt Fender Telecaster Deluxe guitar neck features a comfortable vintage “C”-shaped profile and 12 in.-radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets.
Although this neck features a 3-bolt design typical of '70s Teles, only the bottom two neck mounting pilot holes are available, giving you the flexibility to use this neck with many different guitar bodies.
The synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with “pilot” string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing, and a gloss urethane finish offers smooth playability.

This Telecaster Deluxe neck is true to the original. It has the medium jumbo frets, the large head-stock with a bullet truss rod and the action is wonderful. In my research I came across information that Fender used a Stratocaster neck, added large frets and put in on a Telecaster Deluxe body. I used a Strat body and had the Tele Deluxe neck installed on it. Outside of the insignia, it fit perfectly. It's a shame it wont fit the Tele Thinline because I would definitely buy another one.

I am looking for a Classic Series '72 Tele Deluxe Neck with a ROSEWOOD (or similar) fingerboard to replace the stock neck (maple fingerboard) that came on my '72 Tele Deluxe. Does Fender make one? I know the Chris Shiflet tele has a rosewood fingerboard... Thanks! Carter
