I would agree with another post on here that this guitar is very underrated! I've owned a Taylor and this guitar is every bit as good sounding as that Taylor and when I plugged it in to my amp I was blown away with the sound. This is in my opinion an awesome guitar and for a very cheap price. I would recommend it to anyone.

I've been playing about 50 years, all genres, so many guitars I can't even name them all but I have played and owned many top tier acoustics and for the money you cannot beat this one. You get solid spruce top and solid back and sides that produce a rich even tone. Great sustain, stays in tune forever. It sounds great with any string type, brand and gauge. Best bargain you will ever find. I have 2 so I can leave one in open tune.

I bought this guitar about 6 months ago. It is great. Sounds good, plays good, looks good and it came with a nice hard shell case. I was surprised at the quality of the guitar for the price. It plays and looks like a guitar for twice the amount. Being a dreadnaught body it really put out the sound without being amped. Great for taking along to parties or just to the park and playing in the shade of a tree with friends. Plug it into an amp and wow. I just can't get over how good of a guitar it is and for the price I'd say it's one of the best bangs for the buck.

I went and got one of these this week to go with my Fender Acoustic 100 combo which I bought a couple of weeks ago. This guitar is IMO, a very underrated instrument that can hang with a Taylor or a Martin . It's very well made and sounds great either unplugged or plugged in. The Fishman Presys Preamp offers a variety of tones along with the built in tuner . It was set up just fine and didn't need any truss rod adjustments which is to me, rare when it comes to buying a new Acoustic guitar . It stays in tune forever and just sounds great. The only fault IMO, is the included case which I felt could've been built a bit more secure but, I'll be upgrading to something better as far as that goes.

Great buy for me, the Fender dreadnought guitar sounds very full and I can't wait to purchase an acoustic guitar amplifier to further test out the sound performance. I bought the sunburst color.

I got this guitar to get back into it. I've been playing it none stop. Such a great sound, neck feels good. I would recommend this guitar to any one. For the price you can't bet it, up to par with most expensive ones.

This guitar has been getting good reviews and would compare to some Martin and Taylor acoustic guitars. This would be a good choice.

My question . Are you saying that the Fender Classic Design Series, CD-140SCE Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar, does not come with a hard shell case? I read in the description of this guitar, that this guitar comes with a hard shell case!! In fact, this is just my opinion, but for the prices we everyday people, have to pay for a great guitar, I feel that most of these guitars should come with a case. I'm sure this wouldn't break your bank or pockets to start including hardshell cases with most of these guitars. It's not easy for ordinary people, like myself, to be able to buy guitars or I mean really good guitars, let alone the case to be able to protect our investment into a guitar and to be able to take them out with us!!! Just wanting to be able to purchase what I need for what I'd like to have.

This case comes with the CD-140SCE. Whether a case comes with a guitar or not as well as the price is determined by the manufacturer.

Yes, the guitar should be ready to play out of the box. It would just need to be tuned.

What's difference between cd60sce and cd140sce acoustic electric fender?

    Open Reply - Charles
The main difference is the CD-140SCE comes with a hardshell case and rosewood back and sides instead of mahogany back and sides on the CD-60SCE.
