The Brent Mason Telecaster | Fender Stories Collection | Fender
Fender's Brent Mason Telecaster pays tribute to the Grammy-winning session guitarist's prized '67 Tele. Already modified with a trio of Seymour Duncan pickups and Glaser Bender system, the Brent Mason Telecaster recreates this versatile all-in-one guitar. This innovative instrument is designed for players seeking authentic Nashville tones and dynamics.
Versatile, High-Performance Pickups For Studio And Stage
The Brent Mason Telecaster features pickups hand-selected by Mason himself. A Vintage Stack Tele bridge pickup delivers the bite and twang that made the Telecaster famous, while eliminating hum. The Hot Stack Strat middle pickup uses overwound coils and a blade magnet for a bold, punchy midrange, ideal for layering guitars in a mix. A Vintage Mini Humbucker at the neck provides tight lows and smooth highs that morph into a rich growl when overdriven. With a 3-way switch and separate volume controls, this versatile pickup configuration unleashes any tone at a moment's notice.
Glaser Bender System Provides Authentic Pedal Steel Effects
The Brent Mason Telecaster includes a Glaser Bender system, the premier B-Bender used by top players. This handmade system is built to exacting standards, with a built-in fine tuner ensuring perfect pitch. Activating the bender bar lets players recreate pedal steel-style bends and licks with ease. For 50 years, the Glaser Bender system has been the choice of legends like Brent Mason, Brad Paisley and Mike Campbell.
Comfortable, Familiar Neck Perfect For Steel-String Players
The Brent Mason Telecaster features a maple neck with a 7.25" radius and medium jumbo frets, providing a comfortable feel familiar to steel-string players. This versatile neck, combined with the chambered ash body and contoured cutaway, offers effortless playability across the 22-fret fingerboard.
Included Gig Bag For Stylish, Sustainable Transport
Fender includes a recycled nylon gig bag, providing a stylish and sustainable way to transport your Brent Mason Telecaster. Padded handles and a durable exterior protect the instrument, while a spacious interior fits cables, straps and other essentials. Made from repurposed materials like microplastics and fishing nets, this gig bag helps promote environmental responsibility.

Big investment that is totally worth it. Plays fantastic (only needed a tuning out of the box) and sounds as versatile as you hope it will be, both clean and dirty. Some people have noted the heavier than standard weight, but I've always preferred a heftier git as it feels better to handle to me. The bender is a bit tough to dial in correctly but once you do it works smoothly. #sweepstakes

superb sound quality this isn't my first fender I have a 1991 fender 5 way switch one humbucker and 2 single coil setup but the Brent mason telecaster is lots of fun to play. I played mine for 4 hours on the fist day I brought it home and it complements my pedal setup see pictures. I would strongly recommend to other people to buy the Brent Mason telecaster it is lots of fun to play. This guitar was calling me when I first saw it in the store and I had ordered a Stratocaster in April thank god it was on back order because this telecaster is way better.

I had to call fender to get this guitar ordered.I had been tracking it for months. Definitely worth the wait. I play an American made professional Strat mostly and this is now my go to. Extremely versatile and can be used for all genre of music. The smaller neck gives you a lot of control and has an amazing feel. The pickups give you some of the most versatile tones. I highly recommend this guitar if you can get your hands on it

If you've ever heard a country song on the radio, chances are this exact telecaster was on it. Three Seymour Duncan pickups that will give you the tone you're looking for and a B (or G, it's interchangeable) bender by Glaser preinstalled? Yeah, it wasn't difficult to get this guitar. My two, but small, complaints are the weight of the guitar and how the guitar fits inside the case (which is the same color as his signature Wampler pedal). Fender did not compensate for the E locking tuner and thus you'll have to modify it to fit. Overall, add this beast to your arsenal.

Your photos show a Brent Mason Telecaster without his signature on the back of the neck. All other videos and photos have the signature decal, so is this omission a mistake?
I apologize for the confusion. It's a mistakesubmitted4 years ago
