Ergonomic Modern D Neck Profile and Compound-Radius Fingerboard

The American Ultra Stratocaster features Fender's Modern D neck profile with rolled fingerboard edges, providing hours of playing comfort, while the tapered neck heel allows effortless access to higher frets. The speedy 10"–14" compound-radius fingerboard hosts 22 medium-jumbo frets for fluid lead playing.

Proprietary Ultra Noiseless Pickups

The American Ultra Stratocaster comes equipped with a full complement of Fender's Ultra Noiseless pickups, including two single coils (neck and middle) and an Ultra Double Tap humbucker (bridge). These pickups were designed to capture the articulate, glassy tone of vintage single coils without the hum, allowing crystal-clear cleans, punchy rhythms and searing leads.

Double Tap Humbucker Bridge Pickup

The bridge Ultra Double Tap humbucker can be tapped for single-coil tones, allowing a wider range of Strat tones than ever before. With the middle pickup engaged, the two inner coils of the humbucker are tapped, producing a tone similar to a vintage single coil. When only the bridge pickup is selected, both coils are tapped for a bright, punchy single-coil tone.

Additional Appointments Provide Precision and Stability

Locking tuning machines provide exceptionally precise and stable tuning. The contoured alder body hosts a vintage-style tremolo bridge for expressive string-bending effects. This Strat is also designed to turn heads with its Ultraburst finish featuring a distinct woodgrain, giving it a unique aesthetic touch.

    This is my favorite strat. It plays very well, the neck is nice and thin, and the sound from the pick ups is fantastic. A very "modern" feeling strat. This is my first ultra model, my favorite things about it are the color (Texas tea) and the neck. Highly recommended!

    I am currently a student player. I had this guitar setup professionally and it made all the difference in the world. This was an open box return but there was not one flaw on it anywhere so I got a very good deal! It plays excellent.

    These D Shaped Necks on these Ultras are Great. Locking Tuners for easy String Changes. Noiseless Pickups and S1 Switch along with the Humbucker Sound Great.. Setup from Factory was Good. Stays in Tune and Can't Complain! I also bought the Ultra Mocha Burst with SSS PICKUPS

    Fender made some great modern improvements on a classic axe.The flattened radius makes it an easier guitar play.The slimmed neck and tilted heal really facilitate bending notes all over the neck .The new electronics package just adds to the fun!
