The Fender American Stratocaster Tremolo Arm is a genuine replacement part designed specifically for American Vintage Stratocasters from 1986 to the present. With its bright chrome finish and iconic white tip, this tremolo arm looks and feels just like the original—because it is the original. For players seeking to restore a well-loved Strat to like-new condition or simply replace a worn or broken tremolo arm, this Fender-certified part is the only option that will maintain the quality and performance you expect from an American Strat.

Precision-Engineered for Optimal Performance

As an official Fender replacement part, the American Stratocaster Tremolo Arm is crafted to the same exacting specifications as the components that come standard on new American Series Strats. Its threaded end and rubberized tip are sized and shaped specifically for your guitar, ensuring a perfect, wobble-free fit. This means you'll experience the same smooth, responsive tremolo action and precise tuning stability as when your Strat was new. For the dedicated Strat player, only genuine Fender parts will do.

Looks and Feels Like the Real Thing

With its bright chrome finish and iconic white tip, the American Stratocaster Tremolo Arm is designed to match your Strat perfectly. Its high-quality chrome plating is durable yet glossy, resisting tarnish and scratches while maintaining a mirror-like shine. The rubberized tip provides a comfortable, non-slip grip and that classic Strat look. For an authentic Fender feel and appearance, no aftermarket tremolo arm can compare.

Restore Your Strat to Factory Fresh

If age or heavy use have taken their toll on your American Strat's tremolo arm, the Fender American Stratocaster Tremolo Arm allows you to restore the guitar to like-new condition. By replacing a worn, dented or rusty tremolo arm with a genuine new Fender part, you can revive your Strat's appearance and bring back fast, fluid tremolo action. For players and collectors, keeping your American Strat in prime working order with original components is a must.

Much like the original bar that came with the guitar

Bought it for a mexi-strat; screwed right in. I may need to remove a trem spring, because the bar bends a little when I whammy it, and I'm afraid it may snap off. This is because I have my bridge flat on the guitar body (not floating) which lowers the action and doesn't make the guitar go wildly out of tune if I snap a string onstage. The downside is that if I screw the bar in too far, it hits the tone knobs and can't swing out of the way. I think they make either bars or blocks with an angle to compensate, but this isn't that. I'm not 100% sure whether it is screwed in far enough to contact the tiny spring that most people don't know is supposed to be in that hole where the bar screws in, (that spring is usually lost before you even buy the guitar, when the clerks take the bars out of demo guitars to prevent whammy bar theft. These tiny Fender springs are sold in packs of 10 because they are easily lost) but the friction feels right and the bar isn't just swinging around on its own.

Direct fit tremolo bar for American Strat

A must have for me is a correct fit whammy bar for my American Strat and this is it. Screws in perfect like it should and has the correct bend to the metal. I have a few of these because when I buy a used American strat I must have the correct tremolo bar.

Not really much to it. It's a tremolo arm for a strat. Classic style, easy to use, and easy to install (it screws in).

Will this fit my 2013 Amercian Special Strat?

Will this fit my 2013 Amercian Special Strat?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
Your 2013 American Special Strat most likely has a standard 10-32 threaded tremolo arm (as opposed to the pop-in style used on American Deluxe/Elite/Ultra Strats or the MIM Standard Series, which sometimes use metric threads). The American Stratocaster Tremolo Arm you’re referring to — if it’s threaded and not the “pop-in” type — is usually 10-32, so it should fit.
