    I purchased an American Professional II strat, but wasn't in love with the tortoise shell pickguard, I wanted something a bit closer to the American Vintage II look, so this helps perfectly. It was very easy and straightforward to install with a youtube tutorial. Definitely worth if you just want to change something about your guitar and are on a budget.

    Great quality by Fender for an extra pick guard or replace your existing one. I bought this for my sunburst stratocaster since I had so many pick marks on my other one. Great product from Fender.

    Will this fit a Fender Mexican Standard Strat

    Yes it will. The only issue is that some cases there's a couple of screws located in a different spot (off by a couple of inches) and you'd have to drill new holes, but they would be covered by the pickguard.

    Hi, is this the pickguard that comes with the Fender American Professional Sunburst??, I need to replace the one that came with it because of the scratches, I need to comfirm this is the original one that come with that guitar and that it is compatible, thanks

    It depends on the model you purchased. Sometimes the screw holes are in different spots. Give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can verify that for you.
