I love the look. The only bad thing was I had to drill holes to screw in the pick up.

I first saw this pickguard on a black strat that guitarist Stevie Van Zant played. In combination with the maple neck these colors just appealed to me like no other combination has before. I love the look of this Black Pearl pickguard against the black finish of my strat and I jokingly told Guitar Center's Allan Clarke that by having this pickguard installed on my strat, "I think I just raised the value of the guitar by another $200.00." It's that beautiful.

Messaged yesterday regarding fit question, but the answer addressed the 11 hole mounting screws. But, Will this fit MIM Strat HB cutout...this is contoured to also go between the coils vs. the straight sided, rounded corner opening...will it fit or would i need rounded corner opening style...

Will this fit a MIM Strat? Meaning...the HB opening is "contoured" and need to be sure it will fit between HB coils...other pickguards I've seen are straight cut w rounded corners as opposed to the contour cut...

This pick guard would not work with an MIM strat. The pick guard would need to have the straight cut as opposed to the contoured cut.

It should. There are two types of hole layouts on strats, worst case scenario you would have to drill a couple of holes for the pickguard. But I would say that is very unlikely to need to be done.
