perfect fit - everything lines up
I have a MIM Ash tele with a natural finish. It came with a tortoise shell guard which I didn't care for much. I have never worked on a guitar before and the change was fairly easy, although there are no instructions. The only thing to watch out for is that the neck pickup is only held in by the pick guard and is a little difficult to put back but, if I can do it, so can you. My guitar looks great; I am glad I made the change

Not what I thought
I thought I was getting an all black pick guard (like the picture and description leads you to believe), but This is actually black with a white border. Perfect, if that's what you want, but it's not what I thought I was buying.

Great quality. Great fit. I'd recommend to anyone with a 8 hole pickguard tele. Now I just need one of the gold aluminum pick guards.

At first I was concerned because I noticed some scratches and marks. There is a protective film on it that is pretty snug, so I didn't notice it at first! Once peeling it off, the black looked really clean. Super excited. I am building my own Telecaster and it was so awesome to see the guard really tie all of the parts together.
I would buy this product again.

Changed my white pickguard to this Black 3 ply Fender bwb on my black Squire Affinity tele. Mounted neck pickup using the height adjustment holes on this pickguard. Perfect fit and look.
