Introducing the American Original Series | Fender

Introducing the American Original Series | Fender

Description
From its original release, the Telecaster rapidly became a favorite of country, blues and early rock and roll players. It's even made a space in heavy metal and jazz, thanks to the incredible versatility of it's pared-down-to-the-basics design. The American Original '50s Telecaster captures all that early Fender vibe with period correct hardware and pickups, but adds modern switching and neck radius for an ideal "old-meets-new" sound and playability. Includes hardshell case.

So i finally bought this guitar and to be honest its a good guitar and lives up to the history of the company and the guitar. i have two custom shop telecaster to compare this guitar to and it checks out great. My only con on this guitar could be chalked up to a fluke. I got my guitar with everything in spec and checked out awesome instead of one thing. The volume pot is always on! My volume works more like a tone. Not sure why but i have not bothered to look into it yet. minus that one thing the guitar is great. would i buy it again? yes. if had to choose only one telecaster for life would it be this one? No. would i choose this guitar over a standard or some american pro? Yes, all day!
