Description

In 1946 Clarence Leonidas “Leo” Fender created Fender Electric Instrument Company and changed the trajectory of modern music forever. The 75th Anniversary Series celebrates Leo’s bold, revolutionary designs with special versions of the Stratocaster®, Telecaster®, Precision Bass® and Jazz Bass®. Featuring unique finishes, premium pickups and remarkably comfortable necks, these instruments honor the timeless Fender designs that reshaped music.

The 75th Anniversary Commemorative Stratocaster is decked out in a beautiful 2-Color Bourbon Burst finish over an ash body, with gold hardware and pearl button locking tuners. The one-piece maple neck features a deep C profile, rolled fingerboard edges, Fender's “Super-Natural” satin finish and a sculpted neck heel for unsurpassed comfort and playability. Custom Shop Fat ‘60s pickups provide sweet Strat tone with added low-end punch while a 2-point tremolo with cold-rolled steel block enhances sparkle, sustain and tuning stability. Finally, each Commemorative Stratocaster features a 75th anniversary ingot inlaid into the back of the headstock and an engraved anniversary neck plate. This limited-edition Stratocaster is a fitting homage to the world’s most popular electric guitar, providing classic Fender style and tone in a special, limited-editioin package. Absolutely loving this Strat. The fit and finish is excellent and it plays and sounds phenomenal. All of my other Strats are an HSS config so this is with the SSS.

  • This was the most inexpensive way into a professional Strat!

This was listed as 'blemished', 'Open Box' item. It arrived perfectly set up, and there is no defect or blemish that I or, anyone else who scrutinized it. Absolutely great find!

Well, I have to say. After 27 years of playing guitar, I finally picked up my very 2nd Fender Stratocaster. My very 1st Strat Fender Squire bullet series drove me away from Fender while this new 75th Anniversary Commemorative Strat has me raving about Fender. It is just top notch quality, exquisite classic Fender tone and an overall amazing feel and vibe. I was extremely meticulous when looking for a 2nd guitar to own. Having used only 1 guitar for the past 10 years. Not due to finance but just lucky enough to own an instrument that left nothing to ask for as far as reliability, looks and sound quality. Now, at the age of 40, I was looking to treat myself to another axe. Well, I have to admit, I found her. The look alone reel me in, and the tone and feel sold me. The photos alone do no justice to the actual look and feel of the instrument. If you're looking for something similar, I suggest you find one to check out. You will not be disappointed. Cheer's and Salute to Fender.

At this retirement age I shall wait no longer for my bucket list guitars. This is the third Fender bought in three months, the other two were Ultra Tele and Strat. This was on order for a couple of months and was worth the wait. A true testament to Leo and his contribution to music.

The exact products are only known by Fender. Most of the time it's the glue.

I have small hands and need a thin neck. I am interested in this guitar, but have a worry that the "Deep C" neck will be a problem. Can you advise me regarding this. Currently I have a Gibson 2017 SG Standard with a "Slim Taper" neck and that is fine for me. Will the Fender "Deep C" be a problem for me? If so can you recommend something else?

    Open Reply - Thomas
I don't think it will be a problem but it is going to be different.
