Description

The Fender Custom Deluxe Stratocaster from the Custom Shop comes in select alder and premium ash body models. Its lightly flamed 1965 C-shaped "A" maple neck has a 9.5" radius, 6105 frets, a bone nut and a choice of maple or dark hand-selected Indian rosewood fingerboards.

The Fender Strat also has a custom '69 single-coil neck pickup with gray bobbin, a Texas Special single-coil bridge pickup and a hum-canceling reverse-wound/reverse-polarity custom '69 single-coil middle pickup with grey bobbin; five-way switching, Schaller locking tuners, three-ply mint green pickguard, modern headstock decal, "R" serial number neck plate, several thin nitrocellulose lacquer body finishes (specific to body wood; see specs) and a vintage-tinted lacquer neck finish.

Comes with hardshell electric guitar case, strap, straplocks, cable, polishing cloth, and certificate of authenticity.

    I just bought this guitar and received it in the mail today, its hard to buy without getting a hands on feel of the guitar, so i have to say there was a bit of anxiety. Well anyways i opened this thing up to find the most beautiful custom shop guitar this mother is smooth, I didn't have to do a thing to the set up,The strings are low all the note's are live (no dead spots or buzz) if you want the blues you've got it, this guitar was also made for bending the strings, the only way i can say it is that its like pushing around melted butter. I have the vintage white with the maple neck. I don't usually say this , But this thing is bad to the bone. One other thing if you are looking at this guitar to purchase you can still get them for $1,999.oo At musician's friend until the end of the year but I'm pretty sure after that there all going up to $3,199.oo So i say get it you wont be sorry..I'm also not one to write this Cheesy Sh$%#t or even put up a review but it is a sweet guitar. Hope this helps.

    An excellant blend of modern fender traits with classic true single coil pickups. Superb craftsmanship and setup. Not the lightest strat in the world, but not a les paul by any means. Frets look like mirrors, finish is flawless(but it won't take long to fix that)
