The Fender Custom Shop ā68 Jazz Bass Journeyman Relic bass guitar combines vintage tone, meticulously chosen appointments and handwound pickups for a top-of-the-line playing experience. It features a 2-piece alder body with a lacquer finish and a quartersawn maple neck. The round-lam maple fingerboard is topped with 20 medium-jumbo frets and black block inlays. Its sound is driven by a Custom Shop Vintage-Style Jazz Bass bridge pickup, a Custom Shop Hand-Wound Vintage Jazz Bass neck pickup, two volume controls and a mater tone control. Additional appointments to the ā68 Jazz Bass Journeyman Relic include a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge, black vintage-style control knobs and nickel/chrome hardware. A deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity are also included.
